Research has always shown that students' motivation, performance, critical thinking and desire to learn increase in an engaged learning environment. The latter shapes more skilful Students than the average ones, for the major, crucial psychological effect it has on them. As a result of the unexpected event, COVID-19 pandemic, the world's social practices has become limited, and a shift in the learning environment has occurred, from a traditional physical classroom to an online virtual one. This shift has created a gap in the teaching/ learning process, affecting more specifically the students' mindset.

Salam, Thank you Doctor for this ensightful demonstration, I very much appreciate the practical effort being put on the topic . I sat last year for that exact contest . As much as I could remember , I included chiefly everything you mentioned here.However, my thesis was not as much as directed in your introduction. I , to me, delved into more specific aspects. I developed my body paragraphs around material , interaction patterns and feedback opted for and applied in a covid 19 learning environment as apposed to the related ones in the traditional pre-pandemic environment. My conclusion was a recap of all mentioned in the introduction, too discussed along the body part, plus a final opinion around how has covid 19 necessitated change for a flexible and functioning learning experience. Kindly , was that a good plan ? , Did I analyse the topic well ? What should I have added to it ? Thank you once again , I am emmensly grateful to your assistance on all social media platforms . I want to ask about the type of citation format we are required to use in writing an essay on civilisation in the PhD contest. I know when writing the dissertation we must use the MLA format. Is it the same when writing an essay or it is acceptable if we use APA? (I am asking because I am comfortable with APA and it makes more sense to me). And thank you so much for your efforts, sir.

you can use apa or Mla , no issue , and citation is always a plus !!
