    Very nice explanation. But getting ng moment of inertia and polar moment of inertia are a bit confusing. I hope theres good explanation for that. Thanks for the video 👍👍👍

    Thanks for the video, it's a great example! I hope you can answer my question - if I were to work out the total stress in the weld by calculating the vector product of the magnitude of the three stresses (ie. sqrt(fs^2+fb^2+fj^2)), would that be the maximum value that the stress can be? I guess it would assume that the three stresses are perpendicular.

      This is all based off shigleys textbook. This tutorial was made based on an assignment at the university of New South Wales, Sydney Australia

      @@matthewjames7513 great, studying Civil we never used Shigleys. Looks like its a mechanical engineering textbook so makes sense. I'll be sure to look into it. From Sydney Australia also so good to know
