Pig is one of my favorite bands. Like a lot of people I learned about Raymond from listening to kmfdm, but now I like Pig even more then kmfdm. I'm not saying kmfdm is not good. Just saying I like Pig more. I have always like Raymond's style. He is consistently good over a period of decades.
I get what you are saying. Both bands are still good but PIG has been making the better music of the two. KMFDM are keeping the tried and true approach while PIG is pushing the boundaries of the genre.
It's not that kmfdm isn't good, but they haven't made a good album since Hau Ruck. And that came out 20 years ago. Kmfdm is bad now. Raymond Watts was their best member.

There is similarities, but only because Raymond was an influential member of the band at one time. Sascha has his style, Raymond has his style, en esch has his style. I do feel that Raymond was the best member of the band.
Like the dramatic sounds,sounds like an intro to a dramatic movie or game or show. Bit Marilyn Manson too but of course distinctively PIG. Nice song and lyrics 👍🏻

I needed something after the Katy affair to cleanse, and fresh PIG is far better than a bucket of bleach. I'd say Katy is better to look at, but after this video I'm not entirely sure of that now either.
PIG is creating magic these days. Meanwhile, kmfdm has turned into basic club pop. Sascha and Lucia don't have it anymore. They're insanely boring live and sound terrible.
