yes, since the DVA mini fits in a different market...the modularity of the T4, T8 and T12 allows coupling of the modules easily...the DVA mini is aimed at small installed and small PA work where the power of a large system is not required or necessary.
pc ok typically because these with 2 systems per side are lighter and easier to deploy and can be splayed to do what conventional speaker will do...investing in them for line array and also speaker mount means you only have to have one system, not a bunch of other speakers that mix and match...and if needed you can build a line for larger events or a few per side on pole mounts for smaller events or corporate AV , talking heads, etc.
hmm not convinving for me. the physics of a linearray wont just work until you hang atleast 6 boxes. and with 6 boxes its much easier to setp up a normal speaker (transport, setuptime,...) i see so many companys hanging 2 or 3 la elements for just 200 lets say 300 people. thats not what the physics are for. customers want a la because its "cool" and looks big. thats all. just marketing. ill here these in a few weeks and im realy curious. :)

You could cover 200 with that no issues, however with that said, the DVA Mini boxes are a line array element with 90 x 15 coverage, very directional. To get coverage in the vertical you will need to open up 5+ degrees on them minimum, but need to walk the coverage area to see what would work best. We would recommend 2 sets per side for optimum coverage with 2.5 degrees between boxes

And if you don't mind me asking, what would you suggest up to the 5k price point? I want to be able to do at least a 150 persons, but have the possibility to add more components to the system so I can do bigger crowds. I do not have a preference in powered / non-powered.
Look at the Ingenia IG4T speakers with 2 per side we do 1000 peeps no issues. Add subs as needed. Start with a pair and you can add another top column for larger events.

+pc ok you can, but this system will permit small and large deployment with a few or a lot of boxes...very versatile in its use.

it will hold 2 sets, but you need to make sure you have very good stand below that won't topple over due to weight.
