@@PCgamingbenchmarktime, Butchered, as in basically nothing they said was accurate. First of all, Carbonara has guanciale, not bacon, Pecorino Romano, not mozzarella, and no cream. Secondly, suppli is from Roma. It is related to the arancini from Sicilia though. Thirdly, while you can find cannoli all throughout Italia, it is from Sicilia and it is made with ricotta, not cream. Lastly, what you ate is pizza al taglio, which is different from the traditional Pizza Romana that has a very thin crust.
Please no more!!! There are hundreds of Americans doing this touristic videos that always mentions the same places ironically thinking that they are local, typical etc. All of this has ended up in transforming some of ours, once best districts of our cities in Hollywood: the quality lowered drastically ( but for you is still “ delicious “ ) , cooks and waiters are not even Italians anymore, prices raised and you won’t find an Italian in the streets! We runned away. Trastevere in Rome is unrecognizable!!! Campo de fiori has become the fighting field for drunk turists, dirtiness and drunken Florence etc etc. Cannoli in Rome doesn’t make any sense! Real Cannoli don’t have chocolate chips. In the real cannoli there’s no cream but sheep ricotta… Alfredo pasta is called by us “ hospital food “. Coconut in the tiramisu…. Pleaseeee. Now where are you going in Florence, to eat at the Vinaio? What a guess…. Ti do what? An hour of line, all made by Americans taking a video or a selfie while there, thanks to the social?
