I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. Would really love if you can make an analysis video on that, especially since they have all their members on the real one. This comeback was pretty hard for them since they had to promote without Moonbin who was pretty much the main one in this song in terms of singing and choreography.

Fyi, the "special dance practice" is a "special" because it wasn't meant to be a serious one, which is why they're more chill, smiling and throwing hearts at the camera and being more playful. Its more of a fanservice-y gift to the fans. I don't think they released an official dance practice to the song (yet), mainly because a member, Moonbin (the shirtless one in the MV), was on hiatus at the time. They may release one in the future now that he's back. At 6:42, that's Rocky's turn! He use to do ballet so he always has really nice turns. BTW, the voice you complemented at 2:31 was actually Moonbin's vocals, Eunwoo was just covering his part there and performed it during promotions.
The one you're drooling over at 9:01 is Cha Eunwoo, he's also an actor and had done a lot of Dramas.
Astro is one of those groups that is really under appreciated for their choreos. They do some amazing dances. I'd reccomend Crazy Sexy Cool, All Night, and Breathless

astro are actually some of the best dancers in kpop! it's just that they're an underrated group, so no one cares enough to talk about it. individually moonbin and rocky are the strongest dancers and could easily outshine the others but if you watch the actual dance practices, it's barely noticeable. as a group, they're actually immaculate, they have matching energy and are very in sync. what's also impressive is that they have a big height difference between the members, yet they have felt each other out to a point where their reach is the same so you can't even notice that if they aren't standing in one line. also, they have never been stuck on one type of dance genre, there's jazz, hip hop, break dance, ballet influences in their dances and they execute everything very well. and you're right, their dance is definitely not the most difficult, but that's never been astro's dance point to being with -- their dances are more stamina / energy based and most likely aren't as easy to keep up with as one might think. thank you for the reaction, i really enjoyed it, you have very good energy about you!! if you have the chance, i'd suggest reacting to all night, again (alt. title should have held on) and baby, since i think these songs really represent astro's range as dancers!

Astro is a pretty underrated group when it comes to dancing but they're choreos are always so entertaining to watch, they just have so much ENERGY. I would recommend checking out their Crazy,Sexy,Cool dance practice/MV since the choreo is a bit more complicated and their debut song Hide&Seek for the high energy. This reaction made me laugh because UA-cam suggested it today, after I've already seen all your other subsequent reactions to Astro, and I know how much you now appreciate their dancing and now know who everyone is. I know when you saw other videos "in the future" of this reaction, they wooed you with their "synchronization." among other of their many fine points--ha ha. At this point, you had no idea how "extra-special" Rocky is with his dancing, and how all the other guys are so multi-talented, particularly because you started out with that special dance practice instead of a regular dance practice. It also made me smile that you said you were "tripping" because there was such a contrast between the first video where their sweet and goofy side came out and then the MV showed their other side. All of us "Arohas" are constantly tripping out and saying things like, "Who let Sanha grow up?" and "Moonbin, don't show your abs you're just a kid but um, we appreciate that you've been working out for your health so go ahead,"lol. I'm in my late 50's and was introduced to K-Pop by my daughters, and found Astro in December 2020. I'm a trained vocalist as a hobby, and it was the vocals that got me(ok, the guys are handsome and lovable too.) I really have appreciated your commentaries on the dancing in all your reactions to Astro and to other groups/soloists, because in the past I've been a "dance mom" but don't know enough about dance to appreciate all the aspects of the dances until you point them out and teach me about them. Yeah this isn’t the actual dance practice because one of the members (moonbin) was injured I suggest watching a live stage of it to see all six of them dance (it is a lot more serious and sexy)
the member you pointed out is Cha Eunwoo (Lee Dongmin) always voted as the idol with the best visual by all the idols in korea. He's really talented too!

Arohaaaas. Eunwoo be stealing hearts once again. Astro’s full of talent and visuals honestly. I recommend their song hide and seek but it’s a older song of theirs. All night is also one of my fave song or theirs. Moonbin wasn’t there in the practice because he was injured.
If you want songs that aren’t what you typically here in kpop i recommend KARD. Their a co-ed group with 2girl members and 2male members. I recommend you wathc their dumb litty and bomb bomb. I believe bomb bomb is reggae? But not sure hehe

Astro are definitely one of the strongest dance groups around. Check out crazy, sexy, cool or baby for some good examples with the full group and non-special/cute dancing :)
one of their members moonbin was injured during the filming of the dance practice and promotional period, so there are actually 6 members in astro :)
hardly anyone is talking about Rocky, the member who did the turn/the one with the blue hair. he's one of the most underrated dancers in kpop but he's absolutely exceptional! he's trained in tap, hip-hop, modern, jazz, and ballet! rocky also appeared on hit the stage contending against Ten and got7s Yugyeom.

this was a special dance practice cause one of the members, moonbin was on hiatus. So it's not a serious one. actually their choreography is really know for the sicronization, and kinda hard
The one in the brown hair is Cha eunwoo, he is the center, visual, vocal and actor, he is 180 cm high and there is a sentence that ahoras (the fandom) uses that says, no matter who your bias is, cha eunwoo will always be your bias. He is one of the best friends of jungkook (bts) and is known by Face Genius, cause his visuals are really no joke.
The tallest one is Sanha (the one that starts the music in the choreography video), he is known as evil the maknae, he is the lead vocalist, he is from 2000, I really don't remember his height, but I think he is 185/6 cm something like that.
The rapper with low tone and the shortest one is jinjin, their main rapper, dancer and leader, he most of the times seems like a dog cause of his smile.
Moonbin is the one "shirtless" and he wasn't in the dance practice, he is dancer, lead vocalist, visual and he is known by look like a cat and a dog at the same time, he is also an actor.
MJ is their main vocal and the oldest, his vocals are literary no joke, and most of the times he acts like the maknae
Rocky, the other rapper, is their rapper (obviously) but his vocals are unbelievable, he is also the main dancer, and he is known at the industry by been one of the best dancers.
They are one of the most lowkey groups (you can see it at the dance practice), they also have a lots of covers you should check out. I also think you should check their performance for Blue flame if you really wanna see them at the stage (they are really different). I also check others dances practices and MVs because this was more like a gift for the fans and not a serious dance practice and also cause they aren't with Moonbin. (their concept before Blue flame is almost everything cute, so I recommend CRAZY SEXY COOL)

This dance practice is actually missing a member, Moonbin, because he was resting due to an injury! The part you mentioned around 2:52 was actually sung by Moonbin but Eunwoo (the centre with the brown hair) stood in for him on that specific part.
Loved the reaction! I really recommend their 'Baby' dance practice if you wanna see the full extent of their skills!
I highly recommend watching their dance practice for their song "Again". It's phenomenal and really showcases their dance abilities. But if you want to see them in sync you should watch their m/v and dance practice for "Baby". Either way, Astro are dance kings!

I like the fact that you enjoyed the music itself. :) but if you are to react to them "as a performer", i suggest that you should also check ALL of their live performances to see how AMAZINGLY SPECTACTULAR these boys on stage. the comments below, fans or not, knows the fact that ASTRO got real skills and talents in performing (they even got awarded not too long ago as the "best in performance"). ASTRO has always been included to the group that has hardest choreograpies in kpop. it's just that, they are not as famous as other groups. you might want to check ALL of their dance practices too :) you might enjoy all the details of their choreographies, coming from your perspective as a performer yourself :)
and the one that you said that has good posture when he is about to do the drop in choreo, his name is rocky - main dancer. he was being mentioned a lot by different top choreographers in kpop to be one of the best dancers in the industry :)
(a little background of him: he started dancing at the age of 4 and started doing his own choreography at 10. he knows how to dance almost all genres including ballet, jazz, hiphop, musical, broadway, tap dancing, break dance, pop, ballroom and many more.. :p - and do choreographies in those genres too)

if you notice in the dance practice video, one of the member is missing because he is injured (moonbin, the one who shows his abs) and rocky (the center at 6:51) is also in hit the stage, the same show that ten participated in.
The blue haired one (rocky) is a stunning trained dancer in many forms. Even if you don't film a reaction, check out his dance covers and freestlye. He was in middle school when he started training.

The guy who sang the 1st verse is Cha Eunwoo, he is an idol and a actor as well. The guy with the choker is MJ who is the eldest and a vocalist and he is the happy virus of the group cause his tension is so high. I definitely recommend you check out some Astro songs and dance practices because there's such amazing dancers and so good at having the feeling in the songs. The dance practice the special version a member was injured and this was kind of a just a fun cute version for the fans 2 enjoy wasn't taken too seriously that's why all the dance moves were very chill not very powerful as it is in the music video.

Hey Jeff, I know you've got your hands full with all the requests you have now, but I think you should definitely check out the member Rocky's choreo to close to me, whether it be on your own time or as a reaction video. The way he moves so fluidly is memorizing and his dance style in this piece strikes me as the style you like the most. It's more of an expressive piece than technical but I think you'll enjoy it a lot.

it honestly hurts me that no one credits astro for their dance anymore...they ACTUALLY created hyper synchronized choreo and their synchronization is always spot on...so much more than spot on, they fall and hurt themselves at the same time and in the same way like BRUH Baby is such an iconic song because it really showed their skills. Always You, Crazy Sexy Cool- all their title tracks really but these three in particular are peak astro style and really showcase their talent.

I agree that Astro's choreo usually isn't the most hardhitting, but they always execute their dances in a clean and refreshing(?) way - not sure how to describe it - but that makes it a joy for me to watch. Some suggestions I have are Baby, Crazy Sexy Cool, Again, and All Night. The last one (All Night) actually has a lot of floorwork which is pretty uncommon!

I don't think they have an actual dance practice released, but you could look at a fancam of one of their stages since they are pretty good quality and usually won't move! Plus the outfits they had for this song were just sooo good

You should watch Astros dance practice for ‘Baby’. It’s one of their older songs and is very poppy but their choreography is so satisfying to watch.

you should react to Baby, Crazy Sexy Cool, and Always You! my favorite songs from them, their choreo is also more complicated and u can really see just how crazy synchronized they are. their choreo in blue flame and even All Night was a different style than they've done and was more performance based than choreo centered. they're probably one of the best dance groups to date, their synchronization is actually crazy
In my opinion astro is one of the best performers in kpop. Their choreos are just 👌🏼👌🏼 the guy you like is eunwoo! Hes well known for his visual but his talent is just as great as his visual! Hes an idol and an actor. If youre looking for reggae, you should try react to exo kokobop! Its the first reggae song in kpop that I encounter 😂
idk if someone already commented this, but in the dance practice there was a member missing. He's name is Moonbin, he wasn't promoting with the group at the time but he was in the mv (he's the shirtless guy)
They were like frickin' babies...and now they're like abs?! Indeed, the duality is insane. Baby, crazy sexy cool, & all night are good too. The 1st 2 especially show their dance style well, but all genuine bops.

This is one of my two favorite songs right now.
The main purpose of the special dance practice is actually to provide "fanservice" which means that it is more focused on their personalities and just them playing around rather than performing the actual choreo. I feel like if you want to really review them dance-wise, the best songs that you should check out are again/should've held on (this one doesn't have an mv so just a heads up), hide & seek, breathless, and all night. But out of all the songs I mentioned, i really do highly recommend again/should've held on.
Another recommendation that i have is always you. It doesn't have a dance practice video but it has a short performance video of the initial choreo of astro's dance line. However, if you want to check out their dance, the only way to check it out is the official astro fancam of their performance. The dance is very emotional and beautiful in this one so you should totally check it out.
Anyways, i'm thankful that you went all the way to check them out. Astro really is a very passionate and talented group and you don't know how happy i am that you have recognized them. Please do continue to support them, they really do deserve all the support and recognition. 💖
Jeff I’m soo happy that you’re starting to add Astro in your reaction list too! I’ve been watching your Seventeen videos since your first reaction on them and I’m always glad that you love them as much as I do.
Now you also add Astro I’m so happy because both Svt & Astro are the only group I stan. Astro is just like Svt, their precision in dance is as satisfying as Svt. Imo the only difference between them is Svt is more focusing on small details and movement, while Astro is focusing more on their body and pace.
This video is not really a “serious” choreo video, as one of them members (Moonbin) was in hiatus for some health reason hence it’s more relaxed and full of jokes here and there. If you want to watch the real Blue Flame performance you can check out their video on music shows that’s available here.
Rocky, the one with blue hair, is professionally trained in ballet, jazz, and other dance style. His dance moves is no joke! If you watch their other dance practice video you’d be in awe watching him.
