The people is masks were backup dancers, moa (the singer in this song) used to do this song with yui (a girl that left the band) moa wanted to do this song again but it would be plain without Yui, so they added the backup dancers to hipe up the dance and song

According to Yui and Moa, this song is about appreciating all the things that parents do for us, even when it's difficult.
Riding the commuter train is compared to a Wall of Death at a metal concert.
Going to a busy shop is compared to being in a Mosh Pit. : )

Although this was originally a Black BABYMETAL song recorded and performed by Yui and Moa, Moa performed it as a solo song during the 2018 tour.
She also performed it with very little advance notice at 'Legend S' in December 2017, when Yui was unable to perform.
As you can see from the video, they brought it back again (in April 2021) for two of the Budokan concerts.
It was still a Moa solo, but she had four little backup dancers.
Great reaction! GJ = Good Job, this song is Babymetal’s tribute to their parents, and support staff who supported and encouraged them over the years as they grew from young teens to young adults while performing.
This was originally a duet for Yuimetal and Moametal without lead Su-metal. Unfortunately, Yui left the group in 2018 due to health, so Moa performed this with backup dancers known as “sister bones” in the hoodies.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。In 2021, on Day-9 & 10 of 10 BABYMETAL Budokan concerts, I witnessed this new version of GJ! by grown-up Moa and 4 kid-bone dancers on both days. These evil girls are poking fun at adults. 😡 Their fathers are commuting in congested green trains (notorious Yamanote line in Tokyo) which run in a loop like a huge circle mosh. Mothers go shopping to get merchandise with better quality at lower price in shops, which are also congested like a wall of death. They are laughing at us whereas we, adults, do that all for the kids like them. Can you accept such humiliation against us even if they are cute girls like Moa and her sidekicks ? ... Yes we can 🤣 . I got happily made fun of by their lovable performance, twice.😄
The songs composed for Moa and Yui make me miss Yui even more than I normaly do

GJ is one of the "Black Baby Metal" songs. Used to be Moa and Yui, before Yui left the group. Fun songs with Black Babymetal are Song no. 4, and Onedari Daisakusen. Now if you want to see Su actually control a Wall of Death, you should watch Road of Resistance. Written with Dragonforce and an amazing song.
You need to watch baby metal monochrome live video. It’ll give you a great perspective on how big these girls are.

Yeah, Babymetal is fun/happy metal...When I tell ppl I listen to metal, most people start thinking of some hairy Scandinavian trying to eat a microphone 😂😂... but when I start them off with Babymetal, then they're like "hey, this is ok/pretty cool"....Babymetal is the gateway drug to other metal genres.... You want trap metal? BxMxC.... Bollywood metal? Shanti shanti shanti.... Polka Metal? Oh Majinai....Chill dubstep metal? From Dusk Till Dawn... the list is endless...😁😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
