Appreciate the info, but the title is misleading. Should be "How to show network traffic on taskbar". Speed is presumed to be ISP allocated bandwidth - upload/download bits per sec

What's the difference? I thought network traffic and data speed are one and the same.
@@harish1937 Network traffic is the packets/sec going in/out of your local network card which may vary based on what you're doing. Speed is considered to be the rated max speed of your Internet connection. Mine is rated at 600 Mbps. So I thought this tip would periodically check Internet max speed, but it doesn't do that. Still useful for seeing local net traffic though... Looking back on it, I don't see how you could reasonably check max Internet speed.

Something that Microsoft should have standard on Windows 10 and 11 years ago. I like it but installing two additional applications to do it just adds more bloat on my computer so I'll wait and see if Microsoft get's intelligent and or listens to it's customers, still waiting since XP.
