11:02 - Charge bonus had nothing to do with it. When units go down in elevation, they take FALL DAMAGE - so they were actually dying due to fall damage. The only thing that matters in this case is your impact damage that determines how far they fly, which is calculated by Mass x Speed. You can abuse this is siege battles with a flying unit cycle charging infantry on the walls - they'll fall off and die from fall damage. You can then check your unit card and see the kill counter isn't updating because they aren't technically dying from your flyer but fall damage. Why is it like this? Who knows.
well, the squig hoppers have a big charge bonus and melee weapon, against normal gobbos they can actually cause them a lot of damage, so, yeah! it was the both thing's, there where no way the gobbos can survive this charge
I take every pyrrhic victory I can get. Getting the bloody trait is quite insane on most lords. Ends up with 20% bonus hit points, just have to have multiple pyrrhic victories.
Squigs being adorable, terrifying, useless and heroic at the same time. They are pretty wholesome creatures in Warhammer, and it would be nice having even more variety of JUST squig units! :D Very fun campaign, and an instantaneous subscribe.
Pause all you want m8, I'm here for the commentary and jokes. The gameplay is secondary to me, really. You're entertaining and that is what I am here for.
finally something different - a pretty funny but still hard campaign - I love your self destruction rules and in special I loved your playstyle - city mongering for cash and agreements had been hilarious - only bloody squigs - battle-strategy:-surround the enemy and 'sqeeeeezze'. These squids are by the way the most funny 'things'/(model) in the TW game ever...THANK U I REALLY HAD A LOT OF FUN....
I've seen a lot of seemingly impossible fights, and the very first one at 3:00 surprised me - I wouldn't have expected you to win that straight off the bat, nice one!
"What are Squigs?" Well... they are liturally ORKS that stopped growing after the head. they are also mushrooms. and the cattle of the ORKS. (same with goblins, just scrawny orks)
Squigs are squiggly beasts... that's what it's an abbreviation of. I don't know what you're supposed to make of the description of "squiggly beasts" but that's what they are, according to the army books.
You wanna see a really disgusting charge? Put a unit of ogre crushers against goblins. I have literally ran through 140 units in less than a second doing that. It is glorious.
Statue of Grom should probably give more to gobbos than +5 Leadership. Its nice as Gobbos leadership is biggest problem, but i would expect little bit more from it.
Goes better than my campain witch is mostly me trying to stop my fucking rat from leaving the battlefield ( I dont even try to beat the dwarve they just stem on me and I'm on normal difficulty )
Going by my own experience playing Grom, there is a distinct difference between buffs for goblins and night goblins. I took buffs for goblins only to discover it doesn't affect night goblins in my army. 24:55 with that said, there probably is text that's generic for the race. That replenishment 10% for goblins (for example) probably means them all in general. Just be aware is all. Grom good for goblins, Skarsnik good for night goblins.
Im certain units in favorable conditions can stay unrouted way longer than they should just based on their own preconcieved notions that they shouldnt lose.
Kinda craving a Goblin Slayer campaign after this glorious victory. I feel like this game should have a dedicated battle victory for overcoming impossible odds
Makes me wonder who started doing these things first Reginald or this guy (even down to the sims music in the background at certain points), Reginald has been doing these videos for months possibly years, even with rimworld and kenshi
Hopefully the next Greenskins DLC for TW:WH3 could add in more Squig variant units such as Mangler Squigs, Squig Gobbas, the Colossal Squig, and maybe even the Squigadon (an Old World Fantasy equivalent of the 40k Squiggoth, likely the size & mass of either a Stegadon or a Chaos Mammoth)
after you complete a successful waag, you have a small chance to retain some units from the waag that appear in your regiment of renown pool, it was just a lucky roll.
Ah, I do love the semi-sentient dodgeballs with teeth.
I know that's meant as a joke but Squigs have legitimately been used as multiple forms of sports equipment.
@@bad-people6510WHAT!?!
@@Bossnation69 Yes, for example the ball squig. Just a football shaped squig with one of its legs torn off. Used as a football.

Also a couple of flying lords that can fail to land on walls and thus immediately fall to their deaths :D
Death from fall damage is a great thing
well, the squig hoppers have a big charge bonus and melee weapon, against normal gobbos they can actually cause them a lot of damage, so, yeah! it was the both thing's, there where no way the gobbos can survive this charge
That is generally how gravity works, yes
TF you mean squig hoppers do insane charge damage even without the help with lower terrain. You must be off your rockers.
Still waiting on a dragon only campaign 👀
That's literally every single Imrik campaign ever
So? it will still be interesting

Wouldn't work because of the leadership debuff/auto-rout that all flying armies get
@@directrulefromgamerchair3947 they can land too

Sounds like my old highschool's meatball subs.

a Squig is a walking ball of rubber whit a stomach that is pretty much a black hole a lot of sharp teeth and aggression

a Squig catapult which is just a big Orc Boy whith a bunch of Squig he throws.

Whether it's Warhamer Fantasy or Warhammer 40,000 squigs are always the best lil' guys. That especially includes squiggoths.
