Can’t wait to watch you work your magic with that CNC. Can I just say this makes me want one even more. I see they are back ordered

Thanks! I’m pumped honestly. Yeah supply and demand is a real issue for many right now thanks to C-vid. They are on sale right now though so maybe the wait is worth saving the moolah.

Thanks, man! This video was super basic. Next one will have some good thoughts in it for people just getting their machines ordered.

I already used Bumblechutes with the assembly! The shop wax was awesome for lubing up an Allen wrench that was getting stuck in the bolts.

I'm so looking forward to getting mine in! It looks so much more stout than my current machine. I'm already well versed in cad/cam speeds/feeds just need the machine. Thanks for a great video!

Thank you for checking it out! I am eager to share more and I’m definitely a rookie but I am hearing there’s a need for more instructional content based around the Onefinity so I am going to do my best!

Ordered mine last week! Newbie to CNC… so excited you’re doing this!!! I’ll be following along & ready when mine arrives. A tutorial on how to design something with software would be great! 😊

That’s a popular request I am getting so I will definitely plan a how to video on that and I am a total beginner so it will be a truly helpful video because I’ll share it from a beginner’s perspective rather than someone who knows it well and might breeze over it too much. Thanks for hanging out!

Looks a lot easier than my laser was to assemble

    • @OakHillMillworks

I’m confident it is easier to assemble this than your laser! Haha

Not sure if I missed it or not, did you get the X50 Journeyman? I was wondering because I just ordered the Journeyman and was wondering about your table. I have to build one and needing to know about what size I need for the one I ordered. Thanks. Love your videos

Hi! In this video I only had the woodworker BUT I just upgraded to the journeyman rail and I moved the Y rails to the very edges of my same table from this video and it JUUUUUST fits. 😆

Just received my onefinity in March… so much fun
Now I’m looking for a laser but my budget says to make more off the onefinity first

    • @OakHillMillworks
      @OakHillMillworks  3 роки тому

Oh yeah?? Don’t wanna just grab the j-tech add-on or were you wanting a stand-alone laser??

    • @grahambell9293

@@OakHillMillworks stand alone laser so I don’t tie up the onefinity

If you are able run your controller on an isolated breaker / wall outlet / nothing else on it other than say a laptop. We also put our DELTA AP400 dust control on a separate breaker as well, we do not want any motors on the same leg or breaker as our controller. We also stay away from extension plugs or surge protectors basically we are fortunate to have separate physical wall plugs for Dust collection, Controller / Laptop & Router bottom line no motors on Controller / Laptop side / breakers. Maybe over kill but...

I love where your head is at. I have two outlets in this back room and my dad wired them so that the top and bottom of each outlet is a different…. Circuit? I am not good with electrical stuff. I do have the CNC and it’s components plugged into both a surge protector and an extension cord. Probably cringe-worthy to you. 🤣 I haven’t had overload issues yet. Dust collection will be on a separate outlet when I get it grounded.
