This channel keeps my fire burning,I was lured in tech when i was 11 and now am still in my journey. Next month am going to attend my first class in Forensics and computer hacking course.
good luck :)
Awesome, GL!
Good luck!
how it goes"?
Is it a online course?
I’m from Kuwait, and I’ve heard about this story, but not to this much detail. Love the coverage, keep em coming, I’m literally binge watching all your podcasts 😂
Amazing the transparency of wealth when they don't really care about $9,000,000, yet most of us struggling week to week, Robbin Hood spring to mind I'm these cases
And....it was North Korea lol
TBH your stories are motivating me to learn hacking/cybersecurity so I can be much more aware of internet things and protect myself further.
I'm glad to hear it
Your content is nothing short of awesome, whenever i'm burned out from studying I come to your channel and listen to your episodes and that motivates me to keep going, this comment will probably be overlooked but still I would like you to know that you make my life better, I hope you can some day talk about the most prominent viruses like wannacry and iloveyou etc... and get people that were involved in this to talk about it.
lol same, when im bored or tired in the library this is where i go to
True. I'm here in the Philippines (I Love You), but I'm originally from infamous Miami, FL, USA, but thankfully left all three of those places.
These are the true stories from the dark side of the internet...... I always can't wait for this part👌👌👌
Agreed the way he says it is so suspenseful and invogorating.. very exciting to start hunting
hah!
yet another insanely good episode. Dont ever stop.
Man, I love this podcast. Keep up the great work!
Evan is somewhere punching the air right now 😭
Banks don't like to admit being hacked, scammed or even robbed. They think it always has more downsides.
Seriously. GBKADMIN in a piece of banking malware, coming from Kuwait and doesn't ring any bells? I'm no security analyst, but I instantly knew it had to be an attempt to login to some G. Bank of Kuwait. It's not just a hint, it's there in big capital letters.
#metoo
Bro your videos are high quality keep goin' man we will see million subs and views 👍
I will keep it going
@ 11:40 i love that you set that up and actually kept it in the final cut.. that shit had me laughing right along with you bro.. keep up the good work i love your style and the fact you dont try and alter your voice to try and sound all epic and shit like all the others do..
Reference to George Carlin on softening of language:
We don't have "robberies", we have "disruptions of service"
that intro story is so good
Great stories with great guests. Keep it up.
Totally awesome intro story Adam!
Banks keep getting it all wrong, firing the manager of IT only aggravates the situation.
How trying to look around the Internet can lead to unexpected consequences. For a person who really doesn't have the knowledge of Muhammad could have ended up in a cage for years.
There is no Free Speech law in Kuwait. There's only one country in the world with a Free Speech law, and that's the US. Everyone else have other laws that takes away from the Free part of the law in some way.
You got the like for the intro story 🤣
Ok, I'm lost now. I listen Darknet Diaries only on YT, and it just jumps from episode 30 to episode 120, and then goes to episode 119 before going to the episodes 31 and 32
It was a podcast before YT, so he's catching up, uploading older ones in between new ones
@@LabGecko yeah, I figured out like 3 and a half months ago xD
@@dafelix hehe not surprised. I usually comment anyway for anyone else who happens by.
The beginning of the story is what we all wished we could do irl
I'm from the Gambia, Where could we get the UN Report.
He goes to bed every night telling himself it was Adam.
This world is so corrupt. It's sickening
You didn’t spook him he took your advice, logged off and got a hobby where he wasn’t mean lol
Great content. Had a blast handwashing my clothes and not worrying about possible missing omething by not looking at the video jajaj
Does this dude make all the artwork? It looks like it would be expensive to commission.
That intro deserves my sub... Cheers mate... Peace ✌🏼
Your channel is very underrated keep uploading more we like it
Lol Jack, be ye warned Evan! Loved that.
new sub, keep em coming this was great!
In the US they call those SLAPP suits...
No good deed goes unpunished.
Again really interesting. But why did the IT manager get fired? Did he find files with that hash then uncovered something much worse?
good deeds can also fire back. spooky and scary
Always waiting for this
Hi jack i have listens to all of your episodes 2 times lol
Wow!
Hi just enjoying your nice work.
Just on UA-cam or where do you listen?
@@JackRhysider sorry my bad my speaker got fed up.
We need quality content and the creator is valuable 🤝🙏 thankyou from bottom of my heart for such educational videos which is adding to our knowledge 🤝🙏
Sounds crazy. But what if 9m was stolen and insurance was told it was 49m.
they call me Slippin Stimmy
That's extortion and doxxing. Not okay.
Even Slovenia, didn't know that.
That was very interesting, thank you.
How to be a Network Security Engineer??
Hey I've been looking up viruses do you have any experience with No Escape virus
Amazing amazing episode
wow! I love when i get notifications from jack Rhysider
jesus, imagine stealing 49 mil and not get caught...
or not caring if you get caught because nobody's gonna do anything
Great story
Dumb question but is there a wireshark alternative for Android?
Hey huge fan, but on spotify can you bump up the master volume 10% i listen on my commute home from work on my motorcycle and above 95mph the sound fades out
On Spotify, there’s a setting where you can adjust YOUR master volume and other settings.
@@stewpidmoney6634 its maxed out
dude 4 years of podcasting and you're the first person to say to make it louder.
@@JackRhysider well most people probably dont binge listen while doing a 1.5 hr commute on a motorcycle lol and when i go reasonable speeds its still audible but wind noise in the helmet gets bad around 95 mph. I burned through all your episodes in about 5 months
@@jeehill9592 Maybe - hear me out here - don't focus on a podcast while you're doing 95 thru traffic? XD
This is the same episode you did on your podcast
Yeah true. I am publishing all my podcast episodes to youtube now.
VULnerable interNET possibly?
BABE HUSH UP ITS THE DARKNET DIARIES THEMESONG
Before VirusTotal it was Jottiscan 🥰
Are all new episodes going to be uploaded here?
They're going to start to be ya. Probably 4 days after the podcast airs it.
@@JackRhysider Heck yes! Will the the old episodes continue to be uploaded too? :)
@@Crftbt He did say "after the podcast airs it" so I expect yes
Has anyone ever told you that you sound like prismo the dream guy on adventure time?
no hah
You have really cool content. Keep up the awesome work
A boolean cube fuck off 🤣 just kidding that was great
Lmao he could have said nice guess better luck next time a got u
Lmao your ad didn't show
Soo.. after some time (accounting dept) a discrepancy is noticed and all hell breaks loose
Someone in IT Dept finds file(s) deposited, worst case it's swiss cheese and just on some boring server and snooping for the login
Or faking terminal output on some admin's machine who does transfer confirmations, making transfers unseen to the user while root access is already going on ?
Someone in IT Dept uploads to VirusTotal since that's how you do cybersecurity ? 😂 which AntiVirus would have saved us !?!
Someone in management decides to go after the well meaning researcher ?! 🤫it wasn't our fault !🤔
Makes ppl who are tech savvy not Wana speak up huh
note. what you describe din this episode, is illegal and can be used against you in the court of law lol
❤️❤️❤️
Whoah
GBK - “Did it stand for ‘Gulf Bank of Kuwait’? But he didn’t know it at the time.”
In the US, that wouldn’t matter, as ignorance of the law wouldn’t protect you.
thats messed up
unless you are either a Bush, Trump or any of the obscenely rich in the US
Ignorance of the law doesn't protect you, but ignorance of facts that leads could because for a crime to have taken place there needs to be intent to knowingly commit a crime.
@@NicholasMarkovich No? If I fire a gun without looking and hit someone, I can and will be punished for it. Despite not knowing the fact that someone was there, and my bullet would hit them.
Such ignorance will likely cause a lessening of said punishment; manslaughter instead of 1st degree murder, there will still be a punishment.
@@shenanitims4006 well clearly you're forgetting about the whole Hillary Clinton debacle in her private email server and classified information where she wasn't prosecuted or anything because she didn't intend to commit a crime or whatnot which is exact reason why she got away with that scot-free which me and you both know if me or you did that we would still be in prison.
I think my gf is onto something shady with some guy.
If i wanted to learn smishing and whatnots, how do i go about it.
Have her no. mail and fb
Dude, ask them both. Or if you don't want to, break up. Hacking your significant other is no way to build trust.
I.o.t.
cringe intro like...
