In Roblox TDS turret and minigunner are VERY respected DPS towers. And in tower defense simulator it's fairly important to know their differences. Also, you must be bored because I have no idea who reads the description.

Honest answer I dunno lol uhh anyway in my opinion it depends on the player because in mid February my 2 sisters starting playing tds one went more dps so she got mini but the other went more support medic, electrioshocker, pyro, etc but she was still able to do good damage because of turret

I find turret to be really good in multiplayer games like trio and quad which have tower limits of 25 and 20 respectively, where you can take advantage of the Turret's low placement limit to "out-DPS" minigunner, while also still having the space for stronger/support towers like ranger and electroshocker.
Turret shouldn't be used in these scenarios if you already have accelerator or engineer unlocked though, but the one thing it still has going for it is that its one of the few towers that can deal with the Void Reaver's souls in hardcore mode, thanks to its good targeting, high damage, and 0 rev-up time.
Also it's high range plays a good role in its stability for hc, it can cover whole crossroads map with dj and good placement therefore souls can't just run away

Turret served as a better dps combo back when ranger was less expensive and had a higher placement limit, now it’s just better to use golden mini gunner
All Turret really needs is a visual overhaul and maybe a slight buff to the firerate to match its actual armament. Right now, despite it dealing some pretty insane dps, it doesn't look or feel like it has that stopping power to it. It just looks like a glorified peashooter.
fr those miniguns aint even shooting 600 RPM when most miniguns are meant to shoot like 1k atleast

Turret's only advantage as a contender for the best lategame dps is the fact that it's very easy to use, since
-Has incredible range
-Useable in quads
-Accelerator-like dps
-Cannot be debuffed (except for xr500 ._.)
Albeit:
-Bad in solos and duos
-Large placement footprint
-Most expensive 5 level tower (not fact-checked)
-literally just a dps machine with almost all detections, and no redeeming factor or interesting quality

Turret needs a placement limit increase to 10, lower placement and upgrade cost, and lower level for hidden detection.
turret should hit harder but for less range or firerate or 2 more placements
Why does tds keep halfing the firerates and doubling the damage
Turret needs a rework or a buff . It should be better than mini but not gold mini .
I was Goldportex and I played those two entire matches with Endportex on Console lol!
before the mini rework i think turret was a lot better for me at least
Minigunner all the way man, golden or non golden he can out DPS it either way. I think, I don't know for sure though
if you are playing solo or duo then use mini but if you are playing trio or quad use turret
I'm still gonna use mini for grinding on molten.

Honestly, I am a level 211 with no accelerator. So I use minigunner, but before that i used turret. Here is why:
I can solo with minigunner and golden scout, but not with turret and golden scout. (sounds like skill issue i know)
If a turret gets stunned, it gets stunned. While you probably have 36 minigunners (3 commanders, 1 DJ, at the last wave ofc) but when a turret gets stunned, since you can only place 5 turrets, now you have 4. It really changes on where you use it.
Turret is really good in duo, because you have more space and also other towers can support with damage, while minigunner is good in every way because its cheaper and it also has much smaller placement area. So I prefer minigunner but honestly it does not really matters.
Wise words from a pro player ! I'm beyond lvl 400 and I find accel not very handy in most games so my choices are Golden Mini / Turret and Pursuit which combine a great Anti Leak / Range and DPS l. Fact I use that to win all Events since Violence Night
@noobnguyen4273 are you saying that accel is worse than golden mini in "most games" ?
@@marcojonathan4179 Yes, cuz Accel at early lvls have a Burst time shorter than Cooldown and Charge ( Really dumb ). Later lvls won't make a different much since Burst time only tie with CD / Charge but at max it only last 2s longer. Yes all of that Burst Time can be shorten by CoA forcing all Accels Overheat during CoA, in long term you will lack of dmg for the price you paid.
In multiplayer games you actually have less placement so whether or not you use golden mini it is better for dps.
@@user-zy5yp9gi8i it only take 16 Golden Mini to get enough dps as 8 Accels but Golden Mini is more reliable than Accel ( No Target Lock, No Cooldown/ Charge, No Burst Time ). Sometime we need affordable with enough dmg to survive ( which lvl 0-2 Accel cant, 3-4 struggle and at max hardly handle on its own )

Turret is only better in combinations with other high dps towers like accel in multiplayer, bcz it doesnt eat placemet and only occupies 5 placement slots
