Do Vaccines Cause Autism? | AUTISM MYTHS

  • Hey guys, it's Olivia! Thank you so much for tuning into another video of mine. Please be respectful in the comments are I will turn them off.
This video talks all about Autism and vaccines. After seeing an ignorant post on Instagram correlating the increase in vaccines to the increase in Autism, I just had to make a video on the subject. Vaccines do NOT cause Autism! This is a myth. I go over where this myth came from and then talk about why it's false in this video.
    Correlation does not equal causation.
    God Bless! 🩵

I’ve discussed this many times with my family members who are medical professionals. The reason is that autism is the latest label. Used to be that people were ‘retarded’, ‘not quite right’, ‘odd’ and most were sent to asylums, far away so as not to stigmatize the other children in the family, or the family in general. Olivia, you’re right, the movie Rain Man is the perfect example; his own brother didn’t even know he existed until the parents died. I’m glad attitudes have changed because I’m autistic, and it had nothing to do with vaccines. Thank you 😊

There were Autistic children being studied as early as the 1920s and those descriptions are eerily close to the ones in the DSM-5. The researcher was Dr. Grunya Sukhareva and her research was so ahead of her time. She even made the first connections linking Autism to different brain spheres like the cerebellum, basal ganglia, and frontal lobes. Sukhareva also studied and published a paper on Autistic girls in 1926. The fact the world is still catching up to this research is to blame for the prevalence of Autism not vaccines.

Great video Olivia .. We love you !!! Things that have changed, Autism used to be just those with speech and/or intellectual disabilities. It's five disorders now, probably the most prevalent "the condition formerly known as Asperger's". Females with Asperger's are so adept at flying under the radar that only in the past few decades have they entertained the notion that girls could have it, as you said. Another thing that has increased is genetic testing, this is how we found out all my wife's emotional issues were just stemmed from one condition. They weren't looking for Autism in females, when a boy child was diagnosed Autistic they would look at the boy's father and if there were no signs that it was passed down from him, it was then assumed to be suddenly appearing, i.e. must be caused by external factors. Must be meds, chemicals, vaccines, home environment. The only one that is true is home environment. According to Dr Tony Atwood, certain bad early childhood environment can facilitate the same brain wiring as Autism. Which leaves the diagnostic clinicians to tease out whether it's one our the other, or in my wife's case both .. which he mentioned is entirely possible.

My child has zero vaccines or medical intervention from birth. Only dental work and from birth she has been sensitive to things that her father is, who has kind of realized he is an aspi.
Having said that, I am anti vaccines upon due research. It is one of the most controversial topics and I respect your opinion as well. Each case can be studied... I can only speak from my daughter's experience... which is a form of mild autism if that exists.

Good for you! I am autistic and have many autoimmune disorders, sensitivities to food and many, many medications. Because I've had bad reactions to medications that some people can tolerate, it makes me wonder if there is something about autism that makes me more sensitive. My sister appears to have the same reactions to the same medications and she is autistic. Therefore, I've become increasingly cautious about what I put in my body, be that something from pharma or many foods. If I had a young child who was autistic, I've be extra cautious with them, too.

It’s interesting obstetricians tell pregnant women to avoid eating fish for mercury contamination yet do not hesitate to recommend shots full of mercury for both her and baby. The mercury is in there to CAUSE an immune response, it can cross the blood brain barrier. Much more research needs to be done on these “safe and effective” liquids.

You ought to pace your videos a little bit more. At present, you sound as though each video is almost one long sentence. You're very effective---and moderately easy to follow--- despite that fact; I'm just sure that your effectiveness will increase, if you inserted a little silence (just a teensy bit) between one sentence and the next. Maybe you do, but someone edits out these silences to shorten your video. They shouldn't do that!

There’s also a claim about how no placebo tests have been conducted in over 60 years. After the original development of the polio vaccine for example, it was proven effective. The saline solution placebo was no longer necessary as upon developing new formulas, the control group in the clinical trials would be the original formula that has already been proven effective. This is because when improving a formula as opposed to creating a new one, it is generally believed that unnecessary illness and death is worth being avoided.

When i was a child the teacher was given a list of things to look for.
Apparently I topped the list why do I know this because I was taken to be tested in1983.
Where i stood in the door way between the male doing the testing and the teacher as they discuss me. Anyway the conversation or more of an arguement in my eyes left me feeling broken an alien and a child born i the wrong body or plant and i couldn't wait to be rescued, recovered or returned to my real world and as I could stop playing human.
When I was told I had girl couldn't have Aspergers I had to be copying the boys just for attention.
In high school they try to get me tested again as girls where now starting to be tested. But this wasn't going to happen as being werid means i got bashed resulted in a head injury so after that I was told the only reason I was weird and different was because of the head injury. Right up until i had to daughters my youngest being exactly like I was as a child ended up being diagnosed is being on the autistic spectrum disorder and her doctor said i was a classic case with out testing me.
My eldest daughter is being tested too now at 16.

I'm guessing that you didn't read the 1998 Lancet study because you are repeating the commonly held misrepresentations of the article:
That vaccines or the MMR vaccine specifically caused autism was not the conclusion of the study. The study was what's called a case study of autistic children who suffered from similar ailments (hyperplasia, colitis and developmental disorder). The study called for further testing which included the necessary controls to test whether there was a relationship. Such a study was never conducted.
Ask your unvaccinated autistic friends whether they received any shots at all including the vitamin K shot. Many "unvaccinated" autistic individuals have been exposed to neurotoxins through other medical procedures; it's not just vaccines that contain neurotoxins that are being injected into people.
I doubt this video will be taken down because it conforms to the opinion of The System that is in charge.
Did you ever get tested for heavy metals as a child? High heavy metals seem to be common amongst autistics.
    Cheers.

Interesting discussion! The terns aspergers and autism are relatively new in history. In folklore, the terms "changeling" & "elf child" were used, in my opinion, to describe children & adults who were most likely autistic or who had other medical issues. Obviously there wasn't modern medicines to question at that time and so naturally people came up with their own explanations. I'm not dismissing that some people do have serious reactions to some medicines. Only that folklore touches on what seems to be asd.

You getting the vaccine changes you, it doesn't give you autism but it still interacts with your immune system. Either god is against you getting vaccinated and wishes for you to get these diseases (making him amoral) or he doesn't know of our presence (making him not all knowing) or he is okay with us changing making him not willing to impose his all powerful force to stop us from doing good and bad (which is amoral if he doesn't use his power to stop the bad that he created). No matter how you slice it your god is either uncaring of our existence or too amoral (imperfect) to stop the pain that he created (because he can't suffer from pain when he's all powerful and as such he had to have sadistically created pain).

  • @BeeWhistler
    @BeeWhistler Рік тому

The plural is actually that. Diagnoses. Well done. :)
And in my Christian view, actions have consequences, but He also won't give us more than we can handle and doesn't hold things against us that are outside of our power to change. I feel like its a bit of a slap in the face to people born with birth defects and chronic illnesses to say God wanted them that way. Part of the human experience is that no one is born perfect, just more or less faulty, respectively. We're mortal. Also part of the human experience is that sometimes good people are hurt by bad people, not because they deserve it but because we all have free will and this isn't all there is for us. We're here to learn and be tested and make the most we can out of what we have, and polish our inner selves the best we can.
However, the notion that vaccines cause Autism is nonsense. The traits I and my children have go back generations. I'm 50 and my mom was born in 1936, and her grandma was around at the turn of the century. I've heard family stories about her grandma that sound like textbook Autism. There were almost no vaccines back then much less when she was a kid, and they lived in the buttcrack of nowhere, not some city with advanced medicines, so I doubt she was vaccinated against anything.

Ok so explain to me why this all powerful being (that can't feel suffering) decided to create suffering and force humans to go through it? If they were really moral then they wouldn't create suffering unless they aren't all knowing and are experimenting. If they were truly all knowing then they could predict our every move and would have no need to test our faith and punish our misdeeds. If they were truly all powerful they wouldn't demand us to worship them without proof, aka, giving up your freedom that he supposedly cares about in the name of a god so weak that if you don't worship them based on conjecture they send you to a neverending hell for eternity (in which the punishment is disproportionate, i.e., not able to be proportioned based on the crime, which is far from justice, making our institutions more just than this supposed just god). This god figure seems more like a sadist that demands of its followers endless unquestioning praise like that of a cult leader or scam artist and much less like a loving god.

If vaccines caused autism we would notice. It would be rather more of an issue. Like huge. Not just a stupid rumour based on public misconceptions like it is now. Actually, the apparent sudden prevalence ASD is due to higher rates of diagnostic recognition, causing statistics to rise and consequently visibility to increase. That, and Netflix Korea making drama series about us 😊 Not such a bad thing.

On one side I am glad that more people got a proper diagnose, but on the other side i feel bullied by it. One told me "Ive seen autism on a Tiktok Video, thought I am autistic, went to my doctor and told him that and the doc told me, you are autistic" and now he thinks, that he is autistic and he is clearly not..........or this statement "He acted very autistic"....is something I dislike, because a shortcoming in a particular field doesn´t mean, that this person is autistic.
