Good observation Jack. My opinion is that dji Mini SE blows everything else out of the water at $299 with superb stability and video. The first Zino H117 is a quality drone, with good video for around $350.

Good review! Definitely helped me consider some things about some of these models. Not everyone can spend this kind of money on a drone but would like to so when you finally do you want to make sure you get the most for your buck. Really nice review. I have the Blackhawk 2 standard. Wish there was a way to do a side by side comparison on the 4K video quality and the picture quality between the BH2 and BH2P. I think the 4K video on the standard is superb in my opinion. I really like the photos as well.
Best drone for the money? Mini 2 hands down Price, performance, support, camera quality, range, battery. It has almost everything. Everything its missing? OA sensors? Active track? Is largely a bonus

They stuck that plastic guard on the bottom, because the original hubsan zino mini pro, would get crazy hot on the belly of the drone, so they ship it with that plastic bottom cover, so people don't burn their hands. Dead serious lol, that's what it's for hahaha....good review buddy, as always!

You cannot stop a Turd from smelling... Even if you cover it in perfume 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Damage limitation from Hubsan licensing it out to EXO to try and cut their losses on the still God awful Mini Pro... All that being said.. Great well presented polished review Jack 👍👌🇬🇧🇺🇸
Nice review. By the way, the bottom plastic cover is for protection from the heat sink that becomes to hot when you’re transferring files and you have it placed on the desktop. Also, one thing to mention here and what people don’t know is that EXO is also involved in the engineering process of their drones as well not only the QC of their products. They’ve been working with Hubsan for 6-7 months on the firmware for not only the BlackHawk2 series in the USA but also on the Zino Mini series as well. I think that this partnership will be beneficial to the US customer in the future moving forth. The prices do seem a bit steep but they’re a start up company and not DJI who is well established and can put out products fast and at cheaper prices. I say give em some time to grow and gain customer confidence and we’ll see what happens.

All other 'things' aside you did a great job reviewing this drone. Yes, it's a 'rebrand', like it seems all EXO drones are, but most NON DJI drones are too? It's the company behind the drone that matters and I've seen very mixed reviews on EXO? Again, great review...but I'll be reserved about EXO for a while when I can basically get the same drone elsewhere for cheaper. Ruko F11 and SJRC F11 come to mind!

We have been through this so many times before. When are people going to realize that no drone will even come close to DJI drones.dollar for dollar not that this is a bad drone but it in no way comes close to DJI I’m sure of it. For what you pay for this drone it don’t even come near the mini 3pro what’s really deceiving is calling this a American made drone its not

I have the EXO mini non pro version. It's slow ,it's battery does not last buy maybe 20ish minutes my old DJI mavic mini Flys circles around this thing and cost less?? Batteries for the old mini are 29$ EXO mini 99$ ,please tell me how the EXO even compares at all?? Shouldn't be even on a list if top 50. Lots of improvements needed before I'll ever by another one. Only had mine 1 month and regret buy it as of right now.
Drone seems ok but not sure if I would be willing to spend over $1000 for this mini. They are advertising that it is compared to DJI but at a budget drone cost. Doesn’t seem like it’s the case at $1000 price tag ?
Jack, an honest review - bravo! Is EXO/Hubsan happy maybe not. I agree I hope this company can continue to grow and improve. I hope Autel can get their act together and provide better service. There needs to be competition. But darn it- DJI, releases a buggy update for Mini3 and it is fixed in about a week. I am not a DJI fan boy. When I was first looking into drones Exo came across my studies,, but there were no serious info about them,, no blogs,, no test,, not to mention they kind of gave me a hard time because I messaged them asking for the answers of the information I needed to know about there product... So I went with DJI Drones... Exo isn't people or information friendly,,,until they change that,,, I'll pass on Exo Drones... DJI to a Drone Pilot is like Family,, there are times when you hate them,,, there are times when you love them,, but regardless of what happens,, in the end we share and take care of each other!!!!! Sorry Exo,,, but you kicked off wrong in the beginning with me and I had a nice order... In Representation of DJI & THE A2S-Army,, I can not buy that!!!!!

Hi, a rose by any other name is still a Hubsan. Rebranding just adds to the base Hubsan price.
An advantage: the batteries are interchangeable between this 4 models: HZMSE, HZMP, EXO ZINO MINI & EXO MINI PRO (Categories 249g).

Looks like a simple color change and name change fixed all the problems with the ZMP.
The firmware is definitely different. The Zino mini was released too early. They addressed the issues.

Updated since release. I’m sure the Hubsans are good now too. Partnership helps both companies. Moving forward there won’t be Hubsans in the US
