Hey Kevin, as always thanks for sharing your journey. Glad you're happy with the new place. I look forward to seeing your upcoming adventures.
I enjoyed too. Looks good on you buddy. We all need change now & then. Looking forward to your upgrades. Enjoy.
Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair, you go back and forth but you don't go anywhere...
Not good for a traveling Man like yourself. Your very insightful, make videos you enjoy and people will watch, "Build it and they will come".
Love it! Thank you!
congratulations. the lighter wood tones are more cheery.
Good to see you're back.
Congratulations on the new digs! I look forward to watching you cook in it and seeing all the ways you make it your own. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you for watching and commenting!!!
Congratulations buddy
Congrats on the new rig! I did the Vancouver to Calgary drive today so saw alot of the same scenery again tonight!!
Congrats ... Very nice Northern Lite ... 👊🏻
Congratulations!
Wow! Didn't expect this. Congrats 🎉. Good to see ya. Yeah don't paint inside. That's the colour of my first travel trailer cabinets. Love the lighter cabinets. Curious to see the whole inside yet. Yup u look super stoked! 😄🍻
Thank you! After I’m done the electrical I’ll get a tour of the entire unit done!
Congratulations, Kevin, on your new home on wheels! Good to see you happy!
Ha ha 🎉Congrats dude. It is a huge difference for sure. I always say that (for me) there is no point to living in a camper if I am not going to be comfortable and happy in it. So if you are happy with it then you made the right choice. At least I think you did.
That explains the bumper box and step missing yesterday in town. Good work and congrats! Keep up the good work.
Nice upgrade!
Nice video. Congrats on the new house.
Congrats Kevin, Your setup is close to what I just bought 3 months ago. I found a Doge Ram 1-1/2 cab Diesel 2500 2001 with only 133,000 miles on it. Then hooked me up with a lighter, smaller then yours "Apache" camper 1400 pounds. The diesel cummings motor doesn't feel it at all. The rig doesn't know what a hill is and gets 17mpg highway with camper on. Not bad. I love the concept of having two vehicles in one. With the camper off you have a truck. With the camper on you have a RV. I modded it quite a bit. I added a 1000 bucks worth of Lithium battery bank so I can camp in dry sights and NOT run out of power on a 3 day weekend. I have a honda 2300 genny-converter for week long stays and also to run my AC if needed. The only thing left is to pop 3,000 bucks on a totally automated electric jack system with the push of a remote control button you can raise lower all 4 jacks at once and drop the camper in under 5 minutes. Flick a switch and you can run each jack separately to "Level" the rig. That'll have to wait till next summer $$$ OUCH!! Meanwhile I got a Jack wrench for my high torque Milwaukee drill which beats turning those kacky hand cranks for over an hour!! Good luck on your en-devours. The camper you bought is a nice fit, bigger then mine , looks roomy. You can get the electric drill jack stand wrench on amazon for about 5 bucks.
Thanks dude your setup sounds awesome! Electric jacks are definitely the way to go! This one I got has them and that was one of my no compromise when looking for new home!
Congrats on the new "4 season" house. I was expecting to see a bigfoot but the northern lite is an awesome unit too. Enjoy.
I was looking at bigfoot really hard! the price on this was too good to pass up. The 10.6 Bigfoot is an absolute beauty and if my truck was a bit bigger I may have just spit the extra on that!
Hi Kevin, congratulations 🎉 on your new home mate, I could listen to you all the time, telling me about your new home, well done.
I want to Thank you very much for my birthday 🎂 wishes meant a lot, but this week it's been a sad week😢 for me as my Dad died Tuesday, so it's been a bad time.
What with everything going on.
Thank you and I’m so sorry for your loss
Congratulations, buddy. You deserve to do the things that make you happy. I like the new place.

Weekly videos is plenty.
I agree.
Great video. When you discussed your video process on the bed, I wondered if creators break down filming video ideas into actual categories. The channels I watch seem to. There’s the “repair and home improvement” category, which everything in this one gets filmed into videos. The “adventures” category which again are always made into videos. Some creators have a “cooking” category and some do not. There’s the “traveling” category with lovely scenery and pull overs. The “day in the life” category is not filmed as often but they show the grocery shopping the laundromat and cleaning the rig etc... The last is the “how to nomad” category where creators discuss everything from buying the best toilets to how to pick a parking spot for the night to buying the best WiFi solutions.
One category I never see is “the workout”. You ALL seem to have gym memberships but never film your routines. On second thought, that might be asking for too personal footage.
I could and would love to show a lot more of my fitness routine (diet would be great as it would keep me accountable to cook lower cal higher protein meals lol!) I might start showing that more but also my hour in the gym everyday is my time to reflect and focus on just that my fitness, so if I did do it it would probably be a second work out in the day or an outdoors work out!
@@KevinWaldsAdventures I think that’s a great idea. Especially, teaching people the right equipment to work the right muscle groups! Maybe it’s the gym’s that have a “no camera” policy and that’s why Vanlifers/nomads don’t show working out.
Hang in there, I recently watched another channel discussing the same issues as you’re going through called “nomad Brad”. He a younger guy who discussed the craziness of paying high rent today and why he prefers truck life. I asked a comment about relationships. He basically said he wouldn’t want to take kids on the road but he’d be willing to consider a serious relationship on the road. Check out his latest live replay, he seems like a really welcoming dude❤️.
Sweet rig, love your new home...
See your truck around town all the town man and you just showed up on my UA-cam you may like this
Congrats brother on the new home
remember take care of you because no one else will
Kevin, everyone deserves time off so I’m glad you took time for yourself. But, next time a 3 minute vlog to let us know you’re taking a brief rest would keep some of us from worrying about our vlog friend.
Fair enough and I’ll keep that in mind the next time I take a break! Thank you!
Awesome! You were in my backyard 😂 (Not literally) Kimberley BC!! PS- you need to try the Kimberley ski hill next winter 😊
I really want to try it out next year! I’m hoping to spend more time in the area and hit up all the kootnay resorts!
Good deal. Great Campers. Keep on keeping on. Congratulations.
Congratulations on the new camper
Nice pickup, the over head is noticeably taller in the bunk than the 9-6, but I wonder how accurate the "dry weight" is at 2400+ LBS, my 9-6 came in at 2825 LBS before any LP or anything else. Now to see the floorplan, I can wait. lol
It’s tough to say on accurate weight, loaded I know she is heavy but so was my 9-6 and that was 1850lbs dry. Really can’t wait to show everyone the inside!
Nice !! Spacious and cheery interior. Big 👍👍🍁🤙
Kevin, keep a day log. Just got back from a couple of weeks in Utah with the truck and camper. Great trip. I log everyday so know the cost of fuel, camping and extras. More importantly, I can look back over the years to see where we went, when, what stood out on the trip. Tripping in the camper is still cheaper than the old hotel restaurant route.
That’s a great idea! Kinda like an adventure journal I may do just that!
So have you checked out Foresty Forest. He lives in a van and has a lady friend doing the same thing, together and seperately
Yes he does! I love his channel! I definitely think it’s possible I just have to stay out of my head about it I think.
If the bones are solid, the rest can be deeeeeeep cleaned to your satisfaction.
Very solid bones!
as the shaggin wagon saying goes…the old dna is only fabric deep.😂
So you didn't even say what your new camper is
2001 northern lite ten 2000
You do realize we can fast forward without all the talking and un needed suspense!!
JFO then
hope you checked under windows and in walls for mold every used clamshell ive heard of leaks
what do you mean have to get home i thought your camper was your home
lol the location I park and work I guess
