Now in my 70's I would have been in my pre-teens when I last visited Bobbin Head, so it is on my to-do list when I next get over to Sydney from the west coast, hopefully also on a motorcycle.

It’s a nice little trip. Not sure I’d cross the country for it though!

I’ve ridden the GS, but still favor Triumph. Look like enjoyable rides.

I have tried the GS, but I reckon the Tiger falls in a good position between the 850 and 1250. The 850 felt a bit basic when I checked in a showroom. The 1250 is luxury, but a bit much for me

How’s the tiger in the highway? I’m also in Sydney and have to do rides like you! Enjoying the channel ❤ it especially the way you do the maps awesome

Thanks mate, appreciate that. The tiger goes great on the highway, plenty of power and good wind protection.

Thanks for that! It brought back memories of when I lived at Pittwater and sailed all around there! Quick question, I'm looking to upgrade and looking at the RP. Other than the crap app and awful tft, are there any other downsides? I have heard many stories of excessive heat coming from the radiators to the legs. In Sydney heat, how do you fare? I'm in Coffs, and it can get pretty warm around here. Cheers, enjoying the content. Oh, did the Walcha-Gloucester run some years ago, temp was about 38 degrees! There's a great campsite at Brettai that you missed.

Thanks for the tip about Brettai, I'll have to hunt that down next time I'm there.
As for the bike, the app is pretty hard to use but the TFT screen I actually really like. Once you get the hang of the menus it's pretty big and clear.
There is definitely heat coming off the radiators, but not all the time. Mainly when stuck in traffic. It can be uncomfortably hot, but you can move your legs a bit out of the way.
Having said that, I would buy the bike again in a heartbeat. The engine, the riding dynamics, it's a really good bike.

Amen to that. Did Sydney to Cape York and back on mine and have had no issues. Great bike. The heat is a non issue in my opinion. All bikes give off heat. Haven’t had one that didn’t yet.
