Thank you for your update. I just got mine a week ago. Yesterday and today I had my first 2 drives about 2hr each. Here in Germany we had 4-8°C. The heated seat was warm in 5min on high and after 20 min I needed to put it on the lower setting because it was too hot. It works pretty well same as heated grips.
Hi ivobax Thanks for watching and commenting! Great to hear you’re enjoying the Tiger. Sounds like your heated seat works well. I don’t experience those lower temperatures, that’s why I think I don’t feel the heated seat so much.
the groaning noise mine does it, its the brake pads rubbing on the disks, took mine apart cleaned them and blow the dust out put a small amount of anti brake squeal on between pads and metal shims and now its fine
Hi Carl Thanks for watching and commenting! Hard to say where the noise is coming from. If it was the pads on the discs, it’d be constant. This noise comes and goes, very odd!
@@TheNakedBikers mine only did it if i turned while moving the bike buy hand at very slow speed, driving braking etc it was fine it was as though the pads were falling against the disk as you turned the bars ??
Handy info..I’m looking at moving to the GT Pro from Versys 650 GT.. test riding next week. Issues mentioned by others are vibration at motorway cruising speed (UK 70mph) and excessive engine heat thrown onto legs..do you experience those issues? I’m looking to do more European long distance touring…atb, Alan
Hi Alan Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, the bike is a bit vibey, but apparently intentionally introduced by Triumph. For me, It’s not an issue, I travel on the freeways and highways up to 110kph and I feel vibrations, but they are not intrusive. Just make sure you travel on the motorway on your test ride to get a feel of it. As for the heat from the fans, I do get some heat dispersion. However, I seem to get it more on my left knee area. I assume it’s down to how I position myself on the seat. For those who say they get excessive heat from the vents, I wonder how close they sit to the tank. I’d have thought quite close up! The Tiger 900 GT Pro is a very comfortable bike to ride, with lots of added creature comforts too.
Hi Sergey Thanks for watching and commenting! On this particular video I used an external recorder. Only recently have I experimented using the Cardo Connect app to record the Cardo intercoms.
good to watch and better to listen to. can i please ask what system you use for your go pro mic? it sounds that good its like its narrated. thanks. jason
Hi Jason Thank you for watching and for your kind comment and question! The audio system used on this video is an external recorder, the Zoom H1N. The newest version is the one I have. It’s lightweight, maybe a little bulky, but it’s a great portable recorder. They are quite affordable new, but even cheaper for used if you’re looking for a bargain. I had a GoPro Media Mod for a time, but it was unreliable, just like the cameras! You may have seen on our recent videos the DJI Osmo 3 cameras, one word…awesome! We no longer use GoPros, thankfully.
quick shift assist i found if i use going up through the box its smooth as long as the throttle is kept open, the moment you roll of as you change it gets clunky, down the box is opposite as long as throttle is fully shut downshift and blip is silky smooth try to help it or use any throttle and it clunky, great video buy the way, defo not a Australian accent my guess Leeds area ?
Hi elithegreat Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope the good weather isn’t too far away for New Jersey! The Tiger is a great motorcycle, enjoy the awesome rides ahead.
Thanks for the informative videos. I am considering purchasing the Tiger 900 gt pro next year when I get my R license. Are you happy with the after sales experience, servicing etc where you bought the Triumph?
Hi Angelo Thanks for watching and commenting! I bought my Tiger second hand, so not through a dealer. However, had my bike serviced at the local dealership to me and they are very helpful and considerate. Not inexpensive though, servicing is up there. Good luck with your endeavours in passing your R class!
Hi Richard Thanks for watching and commenting! Coming from the 800 I’m sure you’d love the 900 too! The weather is great for riding here in Perth. If I’m being honest, it gets a little boring, as there are less towns to visit and the roads aren’t so winding.
Thanks for the update. My, what a lovely area next to the ocean.😊

Gee, that doesn’t sound good. Hopefully, the mechanic will sort mine out.

In the States, the service intervals are 10,000 miles. 10,000 kilometers is 6200 miles.
Hi Bob!
Triumph obviously like the number 10,000, no surprise, Australians get shafted for money.

I have a 22 GT Pro and I live in Idaho (think northern Rockies). It gets cold all year long. My heated seat kicks in in less than 5 minutes.
That’s great to hear! Maybe mine is faulty? I’ll ask to have it checked over when the Tiger’s in for the warranty checks.

Yeah, need to roll on for upshifting and roll off for downshifting. I find I’m clunking a bit going up at lower speeds.
I just picked one up in December, just waiting for the weather to get better here in NJ/USA. Nice to know you had no issues 👍

what was your average fuel consumption?
Hi Murat
The info is at the end of part three. From memory 62 MPG, or 4.6ltr to 100kms. So, pretty impressive!

Yep, the same, pretty good fuel efficiency I’d say!
