I worked as a dispatch for direct tv years ago. Their office was much the same. Most of the girls there flirted with the people they did dispatching for. One even drove from Kentucky (where our office was based) to Louisiana to have a "hotel night". It even seemed to be encouraged since it made technicians more likely to listen to their dispatcher.
Alot of jobs with long hours with close knit groups are like that. My gf worked both in the medical field and post office and she said that was the culture. I worked as a dispatch for direct tv years ago. Their office was much the same. Most of the girls there flirted with the people they did dispatching for. One even drove from Kentucky (where our office was based) to Louisiana to have a "hotel night". It even seemed to be encouraged since it made technicians more likely to listen to their dispatcher.

One of the ex-sergeants got in trouble for riding around town with his mistress and using federal databases to look up her neighbor and friends info (he got caught, there's news articles about it).
