Liam Bailey express was the shit my guy, many a match dropping 20+ killstreaks just running between the 2 staircase areas with the Chicom CQB, good times. :)
Warhawk and Freight on Ghosts would have been loved in previous COD games. Warhawk feels to me like a modified version of Standoff and Freight had that Ambush feel to it.
Wallace Jennings Probably my least favorite map, since it's all tubes, but on servers where tubes are banned (On pc) the outside staircase next to B is one of my favorite choke points, like it's just so hectic and fun to play, disappointed that there was no mode like war in mw2, because those stairs as a capture point would've been a great point. Other than that I'm surprised how much I like derail, because it's such a meme to hate it but it's fun for search and destroy because even though people camp a lot on derail, it's different in search because tac inserts don't work, and people don't usually tube in search, idk why.
Very nice video as always! @4:54 terminal fun fact: If you use cold blooded as a perk, the metal detectors dont go off. man... regarding map design, those really were the good days in CoD.
After seeing this and realizing how many maps have been remade, even ones he didn't talk about is very interesting. Some remade better than original, other not at all (Nuke/Hijacked) But terminal has been one of the favs time after time
Mon Day especially on that service building with the exploding barrels on top of it. It was my worst nightmare until i figured out that you can score a lot of multikills with a javelin aimed at the fuel tank.
After bo2 it just went downhill I hated ghosts and was ashamed that I brought the dlc content before playing it the only call of duty I like now and still play is ww2
Have to go with Favela here, first COD I owned, first map I played and only map I ever got a Nuke on, great Vid Marley! Its good to see a Scot making it big on UA-cam :)
Shame you started at COD4 because COD2 had some belters! Toujane was possibly the best ever, yes EVER map in COD history. Also Carentan, that was what Chinatown was based from, but it was nicer to play on. Dawnville was another excellent one, especially for S&D, had some brilliant battles there!
I loved Asylum. I remember if I felt like rushing, pulling out the Thompson or Trench Gun, and if I was in a camping mood, setting up with my Gewehr 43 either in that hallway near the steps or that balcony area overlooking the middle.
I remember when black ops first dropped and introduced the map vote between two maps and a random map and the bug where you could play the same map every single time all day made nuketown as an absolute favorite
I hadn't played CoD multiplayer online in forever, so I decided to try playing Modern Warfare Remastered online for old time's sake....long story short: I got wrecked completely by everyone on the enemy team when trying to search for cover....so I gave up and felt ashamed. When I first started playing CoD so many years back, I was actually very decent when it came to online competitive play, however life changed some things and I was unable to play online again until recently.
Top 3 personal favorite maps (For Marley): CoD4: Crash, Vacant, Overgrown MW2: Terminal, Afghan, Highrise MW3: Seatown, Dome, Hardhat BO1: Nuketown, WMD, Summit BO2: Hijacked, Meltdown, Slums BO3: Combine, Breach, Hunted Possible video ideas: Weird Things in CoD Pt 3 (why are camos your reward?) Video dedicated to Cpt Price Camping Spots pt 2 Keep up the good work, mate!
Hey, Marely. You forgot that Ghosts only best map is Strikezone. The K.E.M. Strike aftermath of the map is up for debate. Pre-K.E.M. Strike Strikezone is perfect
Terrible for shotguns Ok for smgs Amazing for lmgs and snipers Decent for assault rifles Pistols are a meh It was a good medium to long range fighting map My favorite is stand-off cause you can do good with any loadout
Invasion from mw2 is very underrated. Ask anyone who played mw2 ''Do you like map Invasion?'' and they will be like ''I can't remember'' and as soon as you show them they will be like ''Ohhh yeah that map''
Terrace on Advanced Warfare was the only map I was able to break 30+ on my kills. My best was 44 and 14. So that map will forever hold a special place in my heart
Thebilfster 21 strike zone was good if you want the closest to fast paced but most of the maps didn't follow a simple 3 lane layout and thats why most kids don't like them. It took more skill and don't hate me but Stonehaven was good for long range engagements but don't worry, I'm not a camper.
Dome (MW3) was a fun map for me, but that’s cause I did that survival (2vsAI) game mode with my best friend of the time. And I think Free Fall (Ghost) was a fun concept I stopped playing after advanced warfare, but that wargames map on the MW Beta was fun AF
I liked pipeline in cod 4 also great remastered. Video idea though. You can possibly do a map v map discussion between treyarch and infinityward and see which map played better.
Dome for MW3 was pretty good imo. Also on BO2 in addition to the ones you have, I would add Carrier. Its large a d open and is a snipers paradise. The larger the map the harder it is to raid spawns and people had to rely on 1 on 1 engagements. Also Turbine I believe is one very underrated map. Large too and very unpredictable. It separates the scrubs from the good players.
Chinatown throws it back even further. It is essentially a pretty version of Carentan from the original Call of Duty. Just as Wasteland is a remake of Brecourt.
My favs are probably (in no order) Terminal, Crossfire, Nuketown, Havana, Resistance, Hardhat, Hijacked, Vacant... there's probs more. Tbh I could rattle of all of MW2 and MW3 except for Downturn and maybe Afghan
I have got to say my best memories on any COD is setting up shop with my squad in the dubstep room on Plaza in Black Ops 2. But can't disagree with your choices here at all
My favourite maps in COD: MW4: Chinatown (DLC) WAW: Downfall MW2: Highrise BO1: Stadium (DLC) MW3: Dome BO2: hijacked Ghosts: unearthed (DLC remake) AW: not sure BO3: Skyjacked IW: not played it WW2: Stalingrad (DLC) BO4: not played it
What I like about Standoff is almost every spot can easily be called out and your teammates know exactly where these call outs are. The Tractor, the statue, Middle House, gas station, warehouse, green window, broken wall, the deli, the Tank, hay bails.
It really does. Every weapon and game mode blends with the map so well. Most of the og BO2 maps were either close range or long range dominant or had maps with specific lanes for one of the two styles of play.
Ghosts dlc maps where amazing, and had the option to become different characters on some of them too( mike myers, predator, etc) and apart from seige and chasm they were all good
I was surprised to not see crash it's an absolute classic. But if I was choosing between crash and crossfire, crossfire wins every time except on domination
Marley, we need some more DLC maps aside from Broadcast & Chinatown. Trailer Park in MW2 was a personal favourite, along with Grind & Cove in BO2, Urban in AW &... That's it for my favourites.
My favorite map was pipeline because of the tunnel so i can counter snipe the guys hard scoping on the grassy knoll, because theres ALWAYS someone up there
Many wouldn't agree but my top 3 favourite maps are Bloc from COD4, Terminal from MW2/MW3 and Hijacked from BO2. No I'm not a sniper or a camping bastard but I had soo many memories on Bloc
Last time I was this early Marley still said "Whats up troops"
Crash has to be on this, iconic.
Ashley Skinner ikr
Golden Sniper shocking
Ashley Skinner That's why I said it's tough to pick the best of COD 4 cus they're all amazing
MarleyThirteen ye you're not wrong there, masterpiece.
MarleyThirteen District is shit lel
No love for Summit? :(
Greg Sandford one of the best maps ever. that, nuketown and firing range were the best
Greg Sandford doesn't show summit but shows express, that's a mad ting
Liam Bailey express was the shit my guy, many a match dropping 20+ killstreaks just running between the 2 staircase areas with the Chicom CQB, good times. :)
I only liked express in ffa. I usually ran about near the info booth with an fal. That was how i got my fal diamond. :)
Way, WAY better than Radiation.
I remember when Modern Warefare took my game virginity 8 years and still fuckin with it 🤗❤️❤️🔥
Supr3me 4-0
Haha same
You forgot Scrapyard in MW2 and Mission, Village on MW3.
Mw2 had way too many good maps
Scrapyard was legendary.
I also loved Wasteland and Quarry(A lot of people seem to hate Quarry tho)
cramnkey13469721907 Village was lame in my opinion
Warhawk and Freight on Ghosts would have been loved in previous COD games. Warhawk feels to me like a modified version of Standoff and Freight had that Ambush feel to it.
I disagree with MW3 maps Dome was amazing. MW3 Terminal is in the Call of Duty Hall of Fame IMO.
Usman Farooq i loved seatown and lockdown aswell
Usman Farooq terminal consisted of just campers
Usman Farooq terminal was a dlc in mw3 but yet dome was alot of fun in infected
The UK map was nice as well
Terminal is an mw2 classic and should have never made it to the shit cods (infinite warfare)
2:04 Chinatown is a remake of the COD2 map “Carentan, France” 😃
Which in turn was based on the battle scene from Band of Brothers.
@@Mcquiz95Well more accurately based on the actual Carentan town that the 101st fought in.
Personal favourites-
Modern Warfare - Ambush
World at War - Dome
MW2 - Highrise
Black Ops - W.M.D/Nuketown
MW3 - Resistance
Black Ops 2 - Standoff
Nathan Groom Solid choices
Cheers Marley, loving the content, really made me enjoy going back on all the older games and having a nostalgia trip.
yea stand off was rad
W.M.D is possibly the best map ever
Man NUKEtown was so great
It was in bo1
In bo2 zombies and mp
It was in bo3
AND IN BO4
Afghan is such a solid map, great choice
I like that there's no BO3 or BO4 maps...I'm proud of this guy
Might be controversial but I liked skidrow on mw2! Anyone else?
Wallace Jennings you're probably a camper
Wallace Jennings for me Rundown and Karachi. Big maps but beautiful
Quality map
Every map on that game is holy
It's unbelievable how on point this list is. Great job pal
Holy shit you made me cry I was laughing so hard, you said "Ghost maps... none." You're a legend man! Keep it up!
Very nice video as always!
@4:54 terminal fun fact: If you use cold blooded as a perk, the metal detectors dont go off.
man... regarding map design, those really were the good days in CoD.
I love getting your notifications. Keep up the good work my friend.
Brady Harrison Thanks!
MarleyThirteen nuke town was made 3 times not 2
Joshua Redwan he said remade
spooK_xd oh ok thanks
Gotta do a video of top 5/10 campaign missions
Tim Magee Gotta be done :D
1. All Ghillied Up
2. Everything else
@@ejl1000 Nah. All Ghillied Up was way too scripted and linear
My favourite is terminal #notificationsquad
Mark Ryan Ugh terminal is like camper heaven.
Mark Ryan first map to come to my mind.
Mark Ryan ✈️🙌🏻
After seeing this and realizing how many maps have been remade, even ones he didn't talk about is very interesting. Some remade better than original, other not at all (Nuke/Hijacked) But terminal has been one of the favs time after time
Mon Day especially on that service building with the exploding barrels on top of it. It was my worst nightmare until i figured out that you can score a lot of multikills with a javelin aimed at the fuel tank.
Warhawk on Ghosts was the only map I could stand playing on, but it's one of my favorite maps ever. Good job, Ghosts. You got one! Proud of you!
After bo2 it just went downhill I hated ghosts and was ashamed that I brought the dlc content before playing it the only call of duty I like now and still play is ww2
George Aitken me too bruh me too but I’m fuckin loving the new modern warfare it feels like the old bois
Ghosts is decent bruh wdym bo2 was actually good as well
Damn bo1 has so many great maps - bought back memories watching this
I was sad that he didn’t mention the amazing shit show of a map “Dome” from MW3
The amount of nostalgia this video brought me simply cannot be described with words, but i gotta say u left some out
"Highjacked was hardly ever skipped" I wonder why.....
Ed Jones why?
Have to go with Favela here, first COD I owned, first map I played and only map I ever got a Nuke on, great Vid Marley! Its good to see a Scot making it big on UA-cam :)
anyone else watching this with their eyes?
I watch with my nipples
Im watching with my balls
And im blind
I was born without eyes.
@@hungryfilms3707 and then you purchased and attached them
High rise and terminal are probably the most iconic maps in cod history !! Absolute belters !!
Love the vids keep them up dude 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Shame you started at COD4 because COD2 had some belters!
Toujane was possibly the best ever, yes EVER map in COD history.
Also Carentan, that was what Chinatown was based from, but it was nicer to play on.
Dawnville was another excellent one, especially for S&D, had some brilliant battles there!
I liked Carentan, El Alamein, Railyard, and Moscow. I was (and still am) a big tdm player back then.
Forgot about Railyard & Moscow! Two great maps! Moscow was the ultimate sniper map if I remember rightly!
evanzo27 toujane was like the dust2 of cod
Toujane was absolutely fucking incredible.
We're doing it,loads of people are dropping collab comments on Completed It Mates channel
Makin Day/Night for me on WaW :)
What about Asylum?
Václav Peter Depends what side your spawn was on... So easy to spawntrap
I loved Asylum. I remember if I felt like rushing, pulling out the Thompson or Trench Gun, and if I was in a camping mood, setting up with my Gewehr 43 either in that hallway near the steps or that balcony area overlooking the middle.
Courtyard was the best
Nuketown and terminal (both versions)
2 of the best freaking cod maps
I win
My favorite map is stonehaven
lol
meme boi Oh dear
Nah. Octane
Am I the only person that liked that map? 😂
Mine's Liberation from MW3 DLC, I think I win 🙃
Sick vid Marley love the words you use to describe each map!
Do a vid with completed it mate!!!!
WMD on BO1 was a secret love of mine just for the control of that little warehouse building at the side during wager matches
Slums and terrace are my bae 😂👌
oh hi there didnt think i would see you here LOL
I like slums
Just one thing
I’m trash as hell on it
I remember when black ops first dropped and introduced the map vote between two maps and a random map and the bug where you could play the same map every single time all day made nuketown as an absolute favorite
I hadn't played CoD multiplayer online in forever, so I decided to try playing Modern Warfare Remastered online for old time's sake....long story short: I got wrecked completely by everyone on the enemy team when trying to search for cover....so I gave up and felt ashamed.

Danny wolf same goes for just about anyone, who does anything, if you wanna get back into it you'd just have to drop 20 odd hours getting back into it
Top 3 personal favorite maps (For Marley):
CoD4: Crash, Vacant, Overgrown
MW2: Terminal, Afghan, Highrise
MW3: Seatown, Dome, Hardhat
BO1: Nuketown, WMD, Summit
BO2: Hijacked, Meltdown, Slums
BO3: Combine, Breach, Hunted
Possible video ideas:
Weird Things in CoD Pt 3 (why are camos your reward?)
Video dedicated to Cpt Price
Camping Spots pt 2
Keep up the good work, mate!
"When I think of cod4 I think of crossfire, I also get aroused" - Marleythirteen 2018
Hey, Marely. You forgot that Ghosts only best map is Strikezone. The K.E.M. Strike aftermath of the map is up for debate. Pre-K.E.M. Strike Strikezone is perfect
Cod 3 Eder dam that's the best map hands down. Everyone always forgets cod 3 even exists :(
I liked COD 2 better. I loved Carentan which was remade in COD 4 as Chinatown.
Thomas Watts and ruined in ww2
After a seriously heavy weekend of McGregor mayweather fight it's nice to get back to normality with one of your vids as always good work
I think Raid on BO2 is the best made map I've played
Personally I think Standoff is the best map ever made.
Terrible for shotguns
Ok for smgs
Amazing for lmgs and snipers
Decent for assault rifles
Pistols are a meh
It was a good medium to long range fighting map
My favorite is stand-off cause you can do good with any loadout
Hearing a Scotsman explain literally anything makes it sound so much better
nuk3t0wn bo1 version is my favorite
A video on most underrated weapons/kill streak? Love the videos Marley
3 nuketowns bro!
Thank you for including Stadium, always my favourite map
Did you not already make a video on this or am I losing my memory?
freddykrueger3690 Nope, I've spoke about Shipment, Rust and Nuketown before in their own video but not done a best map video before 👍🏻
MarleyThirteen Ahhh, well it was a great video Marley
MarleyThirteen told us bthat didn't
Maybe you're thinking of his worst maps video
Invasion from mw2 is very underrated. Ask anyone who played mw2 ''Do you like map Invasion?'' and they will be like ''I can't remember'' and as soon as you show them they will be like ''Ohhh yeah that map''
Best maps in mw3 were 1) dome 2) mission 3) hardhat
Oh my gosh, the Humvee comment @ 1:25
Lmao
Marley will you ever branch into battlefield
TheEtonianGamer I'm guessing us Battlefield players are not worthy of playing with such an absolute legend. FeelsBadMan.
TheEtonianGamer id rather get his take on R6:S personally
TheEtonianGamer I'm not sure about "branching out" but I may do a video on BF1 soon. I've done quite a few videos on Battlefield in the past
World at war was my first cod game. You reminded me of Upheaval, I loved that map
Best UA-camr 😂
Terminal is giving me flashbacks of No Russian, but it looks good tho ngl.
"And at last but not least, Ghost maps! Oh wait no."
Terrace on Advanced Warfare was the only map I was able to break 30+ on my kills. My best was 44 and 14. So that map will forever hold a special place in my heart
Noice
First 15 seconds is the new cod game right there
That's exactly what I thought. "Used to know this." the maps truly do make or break the entire game
I'm gay
Wojciech Szczęsny same wanna hook up
Wojciech Szczęsny can you jump down in a green bodysuit while saying that?
Wojciech Szczęsny Your just discovered this?
You used to play with Arsenal no wonder
Wojciech Szczęsny a
So much nostalgia. You gotta do a video on best and worst guns
Please give ghosts another shot, there really ARE good maps! X
Hannah Young octane and ..... I'm waiting ?
Thebilfster 21 strike zone was good if you want the closest to fast paced but most of the maps didn't follow a simple 3 lane layout and thats why most kids don't like them. It took more skill and don't hate me but Stonehaven was good for long range engagements but don't worry, I'm not a camper.
That Shooting Guy I ain't gonna hate but come on Stonehaven was awful it is just unnecessarily big
Thebilfster 21 octane, war hawk, strikezone... these are good but I get where you're coming from
Hannah Young don't get me wrong because I loved ghosts I really did but fhe maps were god awful
Crossfire, Backlot, and Crash from CoD4 is an absolute classic.
Obviously bloc
Best map ever
Not
God I hate that map
sahib bains I would rather play bloc than the cancerous campy maps he chose for mw1
I actually loved the vibe to Bloc. Was personally one of my favorites but I can see why people didn't like it.
Dome (MW3) was a fun map for me, but that’s cause I did that survival (2vsAI) game mode with my best friend of the time.
And I think Free Fall (Ghost) was a fun concept
I stopped playing after advanced warfare, but that wargames map on the MW Beta was fun AF
My favorite cod map has to be rust #1v1 Me
Love videos like this map choices were spot on. Do another world at war video please🙏🏻
First
The Grim Reaper I agree
KING JACK fuck off ya fanny
My favourite CoD map would be Backlot from CoD 4/MWR . I loved the environment of it and just the design really got me liking it.
For mw3 I like sea town, dome, arkaden, resistance, bootleg, hardhat, lockdown, village, fallen, underground, and mission. All really solid
Major Nostalgia seeing some of these maps, black ops series have some epic maps. All started going down in mw3 imo
Warhawk and Strikezone from ghosts were absolute gems
Cliffside on WoW is a true unappreciated gem.
Hardhat will always keep a warm spot in my heart. First place I went 30:4 on FFA
George Hall one question... What nuke town? Bo1,2 or 3
The first Nuketown :)
I have got to say my best memories on any COD is setting up shop with my squad in the dubstep room on Plaza in Black Ops 2. But can't disagree with your choices here at all
WAW under the map glitch was a beast! You get under there it's game over unless the other team get artillery!
Cliffside was another great 3 lane map with that wide open lane in the middle for great sniping battles
My favourite maps in COD:
MW4: Chinatown (DLC)
WAW: Downfall
MW2: Highrise
BO1: Stadium (DLC)
MW3: Dome
BO2: hijacked
Ghosts: unearthed (DLC remake)
AW: not sure
BO3: Skyjacked
IW: not played it
WW2: Stalingrad (DLC)
BO4: not played it
What I like about Standoff is almost every spot can easily be called out and your teammates know exactly where these call outs are.
The Tractor, the statue, Middle House, gas station, warehouse, green window, broken wall, the deli, the Tank, hay bails.
MattSipka plus it just plays well
It really does. Every weapon and game mode blends with the map so well. Most of the og BO2 maps were either close range or long range dominant or had maps with specific lanes for one of the two styles of play.
Everything was fluent, the ttk was perfect and the maps were all made well. It’s kinda hard to identify why exactly, but it’s good
Domination on nuketown is my all time fav , absolute chaos 😂
I know it was in Ghosts, but I honestly really liked Fog. It was DLC but it was so much fun to play, especially when you got to be Michael Myers
Ghosts dlc maps where amazing, and had the option to become different characters on some of them too( mike myers, predator, etc) and apart from seige and chasm they were all good
Love the videos Marley ❤️
Favela... The feels... Got my first ever nuke and last ever nuke there on my old Xbox before she broke... :,), those were the good days
I was surprised to not see crash it's an absolute classic. But if I was choosing between crash and crossfire, crossfire wins every time except on domination
I was glad you said Raid, it was an amazing map.
High Rise is my favourite map and you've said why I like it
Pipeline has always been my favourite map. Plays great on all game modes, particularly S&D.
Marley, we need some more DLC maps aside from Broadcast & Chinatown.
Trailer Park in MW2 was a personal favourite, along with Grind & Cove in BO2, Urban in AW &...
That's it for my favourites.
My favorite map was pipeline because of the tunnel so i can counter snipe the guys hard scoping on the grassy knoll, because theres ALWAYS someone up there
The editing is absolutely awesome
Many wouldn't agree but my top 3 favourite maps are Bloc from COD4, Terminal from MW2/MW3 and Hijacked from BO2. No I'm not a sniper or a camping bastard but I had soo many memories on Bloc
Playing cops and robbers on favela on mw2 was one of the best games back in the day.
I still remember getting nuketown four times in a row in a lobby: next game, last game, random and last game. Absolutely brilliant
Crossfire still and always will be in my heart i mean its literally the map that gives anyone chills to go inside the buildings
