I'm hoping one day Ultra Violet products are readily available in the UK, currently most products with spf in them are only spf30 😔 I get Alpha H daily moisturiser which is spf50 but it's kind of expensive.

The fav Christmas gift that I gave this year was the cookbook of the bakery/restaurant my best friend and I had lunch at back when I visited her for Spring Break when we were in college. The food was so delicious and she really wanted to get the cookbook they were selling in the little boutique but we were students so she put it back when she saw the price tag - I made the mental note that I would get it for her when I started making my own money 🌞 I know Christmas is technically over but Merry Christmas, Sofie!!! ❄✨ Thank you for another Christmas vlog ☺

Of course! It’s nude lip liner and the Merit tinted lip oil in taupe that my sister gave to me. Elf clear brow lift, lots of blush, shape tape concealer, I also did a bit of matte eyeshadow. Lashes are Loungeface mascara top lashes only (tiny bit on lower) winged out at the sides with a focus on outer lashes!! I can film a tutorial for it also!! If you want to know any specific products or shades lmk I can check when I get home ♥️♥️

Hi Sofie!! I acually watched this a few days ago, but I've come back to ask your thoughts on those two lip products? Particularily if the fenty one gets grainy as it wears down, and also if the SPF balm tastes like SPF? I've had such a hard time finding an SPF lip product that doesn't leave that bitter chemical residue at the back of my mouth... currently suffering through one by Fresh lol
Also it looks like the Mia fragrance from Ted Baker has just had it's packaging updated ☺All of their EDT's have black lids now!
Wow I just looked it up and saw the new packaging! not as unique as the previous one, but still nice. also the fenty lip product texture is great, not grainy at all. the UV SPF lip gloss just tastes like nothing/a regular lip gloss. I also have that issue with my other SPF balms, taste awful, but the UV one doesn't at all :) if I repurchase I think I will get the warmer tone nude shade instead of Rose though !

Merry (late) Christmas, Sofie! I’ve been trying to get more into makeup, and my skin just refuses to cooperate with foundation (I’ve tried so many different kinds and they all break me out), so perhaps I’ll try out the just concealer type of deal on trouble areas. I’ll def check out the one you got s as a present!
That being said, my favorite gift that I received this year is a fitness planner for 2023 by Blogilates (curtesy of my sister)! I’m pretty good at staying on top of my workouts, but I’m really hoping this planner teaches me more discipline when it comes to snacking a lot and eating unhealthy foods!
What foundations have you tried? And yes since my skin has improved over the years I’ve realised I don’t need foundation, just a high coverage concealer blended well in areas I need it is best and can defos recommend trying! The original Shape Tape has been my fav for years :)
Also the fitness planner sounds great I’ll have to look it up! I just track workouts and weights in my notes app but need to get more organised
@@themilkclub oh gosh, it’s been years.. I know I have tried Fenty Beauty, Tarte, Physician’s Formula, even E.L.F lol. The True Match by L’Oréal (back when they were cruelty free) seemed to agree with my skin for what seems like a good few months, but then I started developing cystic acne with it too. So I just gave up lol. I took good care of my brushes too, so I’m pretty sure it’s foundation that was the culprit. It took about 2 years for me to heal my skin to how it was before I started experimenting with foundation, though it is still somewhat acne prone if I’m not careful.
And yes, I’d love recommendations!

Your wrapping is immaculate! It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas ✨How good is the Burning Cherry perfume! I first smelled it a couple of months ago while visiting Seattle - I'm not sure it was available in Australia at the time but I swore to get a bottle as soon as I could, it's delicious!
(& my favourite gift was a blowdry brush - sooo helpful with styling my hair especially because its so long)
yes soooo good! it only just arrived in australia in the past 1-2 months because I was checking online for it and then I suddenly saw it in stores. however it's actually a good deal to order it from Huda Beauty direct, I remember checking price + shipping + available discount codes and such and it works out better than sephora :) oh I really want to try a blowdry brush! I think my mum has one I can borrow perhaps lol♥️

I bought directly through Sephora AU 😭 Blowdry brushes are a bit of an arm workout LOL but it totally beats having to hold both the round brush AND a heavy blow-drier at the same time. I'd be interested to know how you find it, especially with your hair being so long! Have a wonderful new years 💘

I use cosrx mousturisers but haven't tried their sunscreens. they're defos more affordable, do you recommend any in particular? always interested to try. chemical sunscreens work best for me, but sometimes they sting my skin and/or eyes, UV is one of the few that doesn't at all :)
@@themilkclub ill definitely have to give UV a go!! i haven’t tried cosrx myself yet (still finishing my bondi sands one) but my bestie always raves to me about the aloe soothing sunscreen, which i’m pretty sure is the only one they have !
