The two light guns are for point blank and steel gunner which don't require a pedal.
Congrats on the move. Well they did it again, new products without fixing existing issues. Hope they get it right. TC should be huge.
Agreed man this should be an absolute home run for them
Time crisis needs (needs!) a big sturdy metal pedal. And the cabinet is going to have to be beefed up to balance that.
💯
What is this?!? Time Crisis for ants?!?!
The cabinet is Time Crisis one player. And the 2 guns for the other games.
Possible game list:
Time Crisis
Steel Gunner
Steel Gunner 2
Point Blank
Point Blank 2
Dave / UC,
The original Time Crisis was a single player game. With only one pedal visible suggests that only the original TC will be included on this cabinet. A1Up would then have to fill out the games list with other Namco light gun games like Steel Gunner and/or Point Blank.
Cheers,
Brent
Wait what?! So linked play was only introduced in tc 2? I have some serious false memories if thats the case lol
@@UnqualifiedCritics Yes...as far as I am aware, the original TC was a stand-alone, one person shooter.
Cheers,
Brent
Two pedals and pseudo-3D glasses would have been included as a cost-effective 2-player option if the Time Crisis sequels are included.
I really wanna see a virtua cop 1 and 2 cabinet. Sega would make so damn much money.. if sega sees that time crisis does well even if it's not there's they could think of doing the same like the megadrive mini and mini 2 with the nes
I like those slot machines especially the Wheel of Fortune. Congrats on the move!
Think you’ll cope one for the gameroom? And thanks!
@@UnqualifiedCritics yeah I’d pick one of those up 👍
"It needs some action" Lol, I see what you did there! XD
Congratulations on the completion and move-in of your new home Dave. Lookin' good!!
Thanks meng!
The slot machines look pretty cool, I'm definitely going to consider getting one for my game room. Hope they aren't too much. I've been waiting for Time Crisis, and it's an absolute must buy for me! T2 is great, but Time Crisis is my all time favorite arcade light gun game. Think there's any chance they might drop it on us before Christmas? I'm keeping my trigger fingers crossed!
Good point about IP possibly not being finalized on the Wheel, and slots, etc. Hope they materialize, though, think they look fun!
Glad your in your new home! Cant wait to see your new game room. This is Time Crisis 1...only 1 player. Time Crisis 2 is when 2 player came into the fold.
New game room will be a whole unfortunately. Driveway is steep so prob going to do heated which was not in the budget lol. Finishing this giant ass basement is a ways out :(
I hope they don't skimp on the game line up, I want Time Crisis 1 & 2, Point Blank and Ninja Assault
also they can assign the pedal action to a button on the gun
Good point
Welcome back!
Time crisis was aways a 1 pedal game. The second game had to use two screens with two separate cabinet setups for link play. This looks right. I just think it needs a coin door.
Itd look right w a single gun and ability to link with a second cab! And good point, those slick new coin doors should be standard by now
@@UnqualifiedCritics That, or a pseudo-3D co-op setup is welcome. All it needs is a second pedal and a pair of peudo-3D glasses containing red (1P) and sky blue (2P) lenses. However, guessing the enemy types will be difficult this way, as each one is color coded to signify which enemies shoot which bullets.
there's a non-pedestal time crisis arcade cab that is more similar to what A1U seems to be making.
Be cool if Point Blank were included too
Welcome back buddy
👊
How would you use the pedal with two guns? Another game on the cab maybe?
Great video and topic... To answer your question, I need to see the price first and then final provision of this cab before considering purchased! If it 699 or 799 I will wait the nine or twelve months for a sale before I pull the trigger because there will be another shooting cab coming afterwards!
Unqualified Critics,
Though it's cool that we're getting more arcade cabinet releases like Time Crisis, I'm more excited about the upcoming lightgun release for the iiRcade, Operation Wolf. I already got my Sinden Lightgun and waiting for the release of the game. Plus, it looks like, AGAIN, at least from the picture, Arcade1up is using a 17 inch monitor for Time Crisis. iiRcade? 19 inches baby! :)
The continued lack of quality with Arcade1up, I will be staying far away from a Time Crisis cabinet if they do bring it out. I thought I'd share with you my short journey with Arcade1up's Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, which finally made me take a break from Arcade1up (this is taken from a comment I've shared with some other UA-camrs):
"Today (October 21st, 2022) was an unprecedented day for me and something I thought would never happen. I took my unopened Arcade1up Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 arcade cabinet back to Best Buy and got a refund. It was VERY HARD. This is a cabinet I prayed would happen, all the way back when Arcade1up first came on the scene. It was one of my top requested cabinets for them to make (although my concept was cooler with more games) and it finally happened."
"I love Arcade1up's concept, smaller replica arcade machines for the average consumer, but their many missteps throughout the years have caused me to lose pretty much all faith in their ability to put out an acceptable product for the money they're asking. Still, this is Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, and I REALLY WANTED IT! So, I came up with a plan."
"Arcade1up's reps made it sound like if you didn't pre-order one, you wouldn't get it EVER, so I decided I would do that, but only from a place I could easily return it. Then I hoped to get some reputable reviews from UA-camr's I trust and respect, and if all was good, I would put it together and keep it. But if this was just another "run of the mill, subpar, quick cash grab" release, then I would return it."
"As I sat through review after review, testing video after testing video, and seeing the same issues corroborated by other UA-camrs I watch, and more issues cropping up as the days went by, the laundry list of cons grew to a size I just wouldn't put up with."
"I had the dang thing in my house, it was mine, but as that one lady said in the Matrix... "Not like this." I may never get a chance to have Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 in this decently sized form factor ever again, but I'm just going to have to be ok with that. I know, for me, if I kept it, I would just be sending Arcade1up a message that it's ok to put out poor quality (in my opinion) releases like this. And if I kept it, I would clearly be the hypocrite as I've said many times, I speak with my wallet. Today, I spoke with my wallet, drawing a clear line in the sand and saying, no more."
I do hope Arcade1up can bring out a quality Time Crisis cabinet for those who want the game. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for The House Of The Dead series to come to the iiRcade :)
vgv
It is hard to believe they landed such top IP only to mess up on execution. Sorry to hear you had to return but enjoy Operation Wolf!
If TC has the same 17" display as Buck Hunter, that would be lame. The display with the white border is actually 15.6". Just got my V20 LVDS board in to mod BBHW.
Welcome back! I am excited to see “casino” partycades! As far as Time Crisis, I am excited to see more shooters but I am not impressed with the cab design.
WoF is a progressive machine that you share the same jackpot with everyone till someone gets it. So the online makes sense . Grant it, its not real money so I am missing where the fun would be.
Two player wont be for Time Crisis on one cab. The two player is likely for the other games like Point Blank
First, welcome back UC, your content was missed. Second, you must be a banker or investor because your house looks like $600K. Third, Time Crisis needs a coin door to fill the empty space and that pedal looks weak AF. Kongs said TC is 1 player only, second gun is for other games. I think you're spot on tho, this should have been 1 player cab linkable for mutliplayer.
Holy shit if thats true and its 1p only and doesnt offer link play Im probably skipping this cabinet. What a whiff.
And thanks man! I miss talking with ya’ll
Well, the game list can always be displayed in place of the coin door.
Would like a shooting arcade with more than just 1 game..
Sounds like this’ll have multiple games thankfully
@@UnqualifiedCritics 👍👍
With unlimited lives at your disposal why would anyone use the pedal to duck? Just go full Robocop mode on the enemy if you die then start again I would be embarrassed to have that foot pedal beside it when friends are over. They would be like what is this a happy meal toy?!
.....I just realized I think I mailed them a request for slot machines about a year ago
I DO know around five months ago I tried getting Pdubs, consolekits and MichelleB to discuss about expanding beyond arcade domain and going into casino products but always got ignored on it
I'd much rather they could offer the bench/stand with the guns/pedals... And could just hook that up to my telly.
Playing Time Crisis on a 17" screen sounds pretty lame to me honestly.
I do love the games though
The only shooting cabinet I think I will consider buying is The House of the Dead. And I hope they don't screw it up like I think they have done with both T2 and Time Crises. Don't get me wrong, they're not major league screw ups, but it's enough for me to pass on them.
Hotd is my top shooter too
House of the dead is one cabinet I would buy on day one of pre orders. I already own T2 so I'll be passing on time crisis in the hopes house of the dead will be coming. Can't fill up all my few remaining open spaces with all shooters haha.
I am all for an slots Arcade1up.
Area 51 is by far the best arcade light gun game. Which means they probably won’t make it.
I will definitely be purchasing the Time Crisis arcade cabinet as soon as pre-orders are available. I'm super excited! Finally 😎🤘
Never preorder arcade 1up! Can’t believe people still haven’t learned that yet
Time crisis cab looks like an actual toy. 😫
Still waiting on these
Arcade1up is done and over. I’m happy who sells cabs for $700 the. $300-400 for the same shit
