Honey Nut Corn Flakes don't exist anymore.... my dad and I loved that cereal. Now it's just cheap knock off brands.
I don't blame Ken or anyone else for trying to get a good price on grocery items like breakfast cereal. I can't believe the baldface greedflation going on right now with our big corporate grocery chains (I'm sure everyone knows which ones I'm talking about). And as for unpleasant grocery stores, I totally agree with Ken that some stores are absolutely unpleasant shopping environments--- disorganized, dirty, unpleasant/unhelpful staff, overworked staff, understaffed (so long line-ups at the checkout stand)-- and it's expected that everyone just fall into line, suck it all up while handing over our money to these greedy bastards who have absolutely no idea what it's like to try and stretch a dollar. I know breakfast cereals like all packaged/processed convenience foods have high markups but the prices on such low nutrition, small volume items are just criminal. Speaking of unpleasant grocery stores, I once shopped at a Loblaws in Toronto and when I was in the produce section, I saw a fat cockroach slither across the floor to underneath a table. It was an old Loblaws (which should have been renovated a long time ago) but since then, I haven't felt good about giving Loblaws my business. Loblaw's bread price fixing scandal also doesn't enhance their reputation, either in my books.

Ken you have intense feelings about food stores!! Yikes! If I didn't have to go too far I might go to an alternate store to get a favourite food product but if that alternative didn't have what I wanted I'd just go to the place where I was sure it was available even if it cost more! I just don't have the time to go from store to store to save $1.50-2.00. But if you do have the time this makes a cool video! Cheers! P.S. Or I'd get another cereal and get Vector the next time I was out of cereal! This could be an opportunity to try something new and perhaps even better! Oh! The videos that interrupt UA-camr videos are sure annoying! I'm not sure what was so bad about the No Frills?! It didn't seem busy. No big deal if it is! Now thar I am almost near the end of the video I know I couldn't spend this much time for a box of cereal!
I do try to get the best deal I can, but I mostly thought it would be a good reason reason to stay close to home on a cold day & walk around my own neighbourhood while making a fun video at the same time.
Hi Ken it was nice watching this video I know the area well, many changes since I was there. My aunt and uncle lived at Parliament and Wellesley all there lives. I visited them often. Glad you found Vector😊

Cool supermarket walking tour Ken I'm sure the prices there in Canada due to inflation must be really high just for a box of cereal than where I live in south east Asia. Things are still cheap to buy here for the most part take care Ken 👍👍

You do sound a little grumpy here and there too my friend! I think we all can. I’m guessing some staff are grumpy in these stores with little autonomy and poor pay. It gets to people. Many customers can be rude so it’s probably not the most pleasant job. Any costumer service job can be very stressful. I just mention this to say when we are complaining about things we can’t stand sometimes we can sound the same way! Food for thought.

Ken, Vector cereal must be a taste bud extravaganza that no other cereal can match. When the white van pulled up and blocked the alley I thought Johnny had hired some thugs to kidnap and dump you off in Edmonton with no Osmo pocket camera or Gimbal...🤔🥣🇨🇦

@TheKenContinuum I always check cereals for BHT. BHT was restricted in all Europe for being a harmful preservative. I think it is potentially carcinogenic.
