I'm so glad I found your channel... you do such an amazing, thorough job. Great video.
Thanks I like doing the review stuff
Excellent review, is there a 0.5mm nozzle, needle set for it? Are the needle nozzle sets for it interchangeable with the ones for the HP-CS?
Hi not to sure on that one
Hi do you have side feeded Creos?
Takumi …artesano en japonés….mas corto..mas detalle .revisión de un modelo de iwata con un tacto increíble…el muelle de la válvula de aire es el mismo o es el muelle personalizado que se vende aparte ‘.
Nice review Rob, thanks for the shout out. The airbrush centre were the guys providing the airbrush.
Thanks Flake king for making this possible in conjunction with Rob. Just let Rob have it😁 it already looks good in his hands cheers!
I have this coming tomorrow, Im stoked, I doubt it will impress much next to a custom micron but Im sure Ill find a place for it.
You will be surprised on how good this brush 👍enjoy
Nice review Rob! I love my Eclipse CS and am already thinking I need to add the Takumi to the stable. Well, when I say “need”, I really mean want lol.
Iwata know what they are doing when it comes to brushes the trigger on that takumi is first class
Great review. Looking at the Dru Blair version of the CM-SB & CM Takumi w/ modded trigger & spring. Thoughts on those?
Very expensive brushes when other ones can do the same job 🙃 but if you like them go for it 👍they will work perfectly I know it 😉
@@dredfxcustompaint The main thing is whether the side-cup actually makes much of a difference or not. I'd just go for the Infinity 2024 if I knew it wasn't much of a big deal. I know you love the Infinity (especially after TODAY's video, LOL)! Cheers, boss!
@@marcelchenier I have a cmsb and they are brilliant get one then get the infinity later on 😁😁😁👍👍
Cheers rob, nice video again. Keep up the excellent work sir.
Your welcome anthony all the best dred fx
Great review Rob. Your Preference between the old custom cm sb vs the new takumi. You think the newer bigger cup atomizes better, being slightly higher almost like a top feed cup than the old version meaning less psi. Perhaps a smaller one would've the been better choice. Thanks
Hi, Anyone could tell me the weight of this airbrush with cup fitted ? Thanks
great review! not sure which one to get between takumi eclipse and hp ch, both on the same price range here in china.
Do you have a video showing how your tip dry clearing brushes are constructed
Cheers Rob. Couple of questions: when the reservoir is twisted 45 degrees forward (so you can paint with it vertical for ceiling work), does the reservoir stick out past the tip? Also do you know if the new flat trigger on it can also be used on the other eclipse models? Thanks
Hi i would have to give it a go with the cup 🤔as for the trigger i think it should work with the other ones 👍
Side heavy and uncomfortable to hold, why i don't buy side-feeds..
I know what you mean can feel heavy one side this brush feels better with the small cup on the side
Should i get this as my new work horse? I think side feed really give me an advantage. I have infinity cr plus, sparmax sp20x
its a great brush for the price 👍
@@Amiami-oy6pt you will love it ❤ great trigger better than the infinity and if the cup is to big for you put the small infinity cup on it works all the
Best rob if you get any problems just drop me a message 👍
Excellent info Rob I know all you need to know about full size guns and mini guns but nothing about airbrush guns so this sort of content is good to watch 😀😀😀😀
Thanks for watching Dean ✌ see you in tomorrow's review 😀
@@dredfxcustompaint 😄😄😄😄👍👍👍
Thanks !!!
Your welcome Embree Smith hope it helps you out
Thank you for the detailed review! Much appreciated. I am SO torn between this and the Infinity CRPlus. I'm concerned the .2 needle of the Infinity will clog more easily. I've heard the infinity has to be CLEAN to work properly. Is that the case with the Iwata too? Not that i'm a dirty person but i am a beginner when it comes to how an airbrush works internally :/
On the other hand i've heard that the infinity is less prone to breaking certain parts when being mishandles due to its construction.. ahh i can't make up my mind, they are literally the same price here XD Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi have a good look at the channel there are loads of videos on the infinity 👍takumi is a better brush hands down trigger for one the infinity suffer with a delay
In the trigger iwata brushes eat H&S for breakfast 😋
I know it's not the takumi but give this a look on the infinity

@@dredfxcustompaint thank you very much! I'll take a look! :) Yeah i heard about the delay with the H&S but i had hoped that they got rid of it with the Infinity v2 haha. I'm new to airbrush, but i'm a concept artist (digital) among other things, so i'm used to working with precise tools and muscle memory. The inconsistency and delay with the H&S trigger is a bit concerning..
@@splatterling4539 hi i am doing a video later tonight on brushes after seeing your comments this will help you 👍
@@dredfxcustompaint Amazing, thank you very much! Looking forward to it :)
Great level of detail on the review. Thanks
Your welcome thanks for watching and the feedback much appreciated 👍
@@dredfxcustompaint After further viewing on your channel you sold me on the Creos PS771. I have used a HPC+ for 10 years and was looking around for something better but was not sure with all the custom micron prices at £400+. The Creos looks like a good upgrade without the high price tag. Thanks! :)
@@RottenMechGaming the 771 is great and matches the micron no problem 😊
Excellent review
Thank you glad you like it 👍
That is one nice looking gun Rob, it does look short and stubby at the front but maybe when you've used it a while it might give you more control, I don't know much about them but it looks like it atomises the paint well.
I've just left you a message on IG mate just need a little advice when you have a mo, cheers 👍
