Calathea 'Medallion' or Veitchiana is part of the Marantaceae family also referred to as Goeppertia Veitchiana. Despite the many confusing names, the care remains the same. It's important to get the water quality right and watering frequency. They don't like to remain wet for too long and will quickly show signs of stress with yellowing leaves. If the leaves are browning and crispy at the tips this is often a sign of incorrect water quality. Rainwater is best if you can get it.
Keep away from harsh direct sun as it will scorch the leaves, a bright indirect light will be best.

Mine has some leaves drying and curling up
What should I expect as far as growth? My plant was sprouting one leaf after another, and it just stopped. I do not see any new sprouts. I have a Calathea Roseopicta. It is small, not tall, and it seems healthy. Is it supposed to be sprouting leaves one after another?
