wow, honestly leo rlly nailed his role in this movie spot on acting, he rlly got in tune with, well, a handicapped person, that he made it feel so real and emotional. gotta appreciate the acting

Wish some people would have the common sense to actually think carefully before they write such harsh comments. Guess these types of people will only only understand where we're coming from if they ever had someone with learning difficulties in their family.
We all must have had an arnie growing up in school or in our town, some one needing patience understanding and a smile and even a helping hand once and a while. DiCaprio was outstanding as Arnie , reminding us all to understand the meek or weak,and not mock or poke fun,remember, hit your head on the curb and you could be too.
I love Arnie so so much!!! He's so sweet and so cute. I'd easily marry him. Leo was so amazing in this film. He really deserved an Oscar for this movie as best actor. I will always love you Leo!!!!!

A wonderful, tender, and sadly underrated film. I didn't like DiCaprio in "Titanic," but this was his greatest performance of all time.

I think Ralph Fiennes deserved it as his movie was better and his part was bigger, but DiCaprio definitly deserved it over Tommy Lee Jones.
He was incredible, when his moma died i started to tear up. LOL Leo was a late bloomer :P he's 18/19 in this video and looks like he's 14.
