@@SYNTHERROR404 There is not Law against copying thumbnail idea's, there is only legal action if there is a image that is copyright owned. Example I take a photo of My hand and My computer and use that in My thumbnail then someone takes My thumbnail and use it in there thumbnail, that would be copyright infringement.

    • @greg_one_izm
      @greg_one_izm Місяць тому +2

@@HOLLASOUNDS That's not entirely correct... If the thumbnail was "created" by someone, as soon as it is created, it is protected by copyright. Sure, the "idea" of that kind of thumbnail isn't protected.. But that's like saying the "idea" of hardstyle isn't copyright protected, but each song within it (although similar) IS protected. Which like.... duh...
The thumbnail its self is a piece of art in the eyes of the law, therefore anyone using it must make significant changes so as to not infringe on the original creators rights.. Basically the stolen thumbnail gotta look VERY different, be intended as parody, or intended for use in an education setting.
A good rule of thumb to use is if the general public cant determine any differences between the thumbnails then it's most probably copyright infringement.

I saw Game (busy works beats) at a grocery store in Quebec yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front, I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first, he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Nah fr. 3 years ago when I started getting into music production, Busy was one of the, if not the first, tutorial channels I came across. At the time I was using Cakewalk and dabbling in Studio One, still experimenting with DAWs whenever I got a chance to use them. Ngl, for the first few months I was rocking with his content completely unaware of any kind of behind-the-scenes politics. Eventually as I branched out, took courses, etc, and settled on the DAWs I would eventually purchase and keep long term, I'd caught wind of the man behind the camera via talking to other people in the space, Reddit posts, etc.

I find it funny how people just recently have been realising just how bad BWB is.
Even back then, he stole simon servida thumbnails/Titles with less accurate content within the video.
Remember, he was one of the first people who spread the god damn Soft-Clipper on master myth, raising a generation of new producers who still ruin their progress with it.
Also, can y'all help me out?
Remember how, especially in earlier videos, he always claimed that he worked with a ton of popular artists like Drake, Kanye, or any popular rapper at the time.
I tried to find his portfolio online, but all I found was a LinkedIn page. His name wasn't mentioned on ANY song.

There are countless better UA-cam tutorial channels than Busy Work Beats. Many of which predate the creation of his channel by several years (since he's only been around for the past decade). Most of the other FL Studio and music production content by other creators has FAR more useful, accurate & concise information about learning both FL Studio and music production in general.
As someone who has used FL for over 20+ years myself, I have never personally required channels like his to learn the DAW as I was already a proficient user of the software for over a decade before channels like his started to become popular. However, when those channels did start to spread, it became very obvious to others like myself who had already mastered the DAW, that it is very easy to impress and exploit complete beginners, who themselves are eager to learn how to use the software, simply by possessing more knowledge thereof, than they have. And that's how most channels like these gained their popularity. Through exploiting naïve new producers who lack knowledge of the DAW, rather than on genuine merit of creators such as this guy.
Busy Works Beats has always been just a "Type Beats" BS demo channel, rather than a genuinely constructive and useful tutorial, or original content creator. That's not to say that there is nothing a beginner can't learn from his channel. But rather, that there is nothing that anyone could learn from that guy, that they couldn't learn FAR easier, faster and much more concise elsewhere. Since there are countless other YT channels available, from which beginners could learn more about using FL Studio in a single day, than they could by watching everything BWB has ever spammed on his channel, over this past decade.
His content output is not even respected by Image-Line, the developers of FL Studio, themselves. A great developer which DOES regularly acknowledge genuine producers and constructive content creators in that community. Which should inform any person interested in learning how to use that DAW, everything they need to know, regarding his BS Type Beats channel 💩

Navie D is a pretty nice guy I don't think he would get super stressed by BWB copying his style but BWB dropping a bunch of content on Navie D's PLUGIN will probably go a long way to help that. IMO this is probably just BWB crushing on Navie D's style and that is probably a compliment in some form. IMO copying common themes IS SUPER common on youtube like there are 100% groups of youtubers who regurgitate the same content themes around the same time. This is not only done in music related youtubers but lots of other topics. A knife halloween themed. Chrome is gimped now due to google trying to change internet surfing behaviors to force adviews and google advertising data analytics location tracking etc.. its farily easy to disable those things in firefox and for google related internet to still work (currently) in chrome they are being designed to break google services unless you use the google tracking and advertising they want to force on you. I am using fl cloud right now to make a beat.. and I got to say that it is probably within a large chunk of hip hop culture of sampling to take other peoples work and repackage it with their own signature.

Geuss I see doing what is good is better than making someone recognize what you feel they are doing wrong. I think it comes down to that I don't think people will truely ever be able to have the same meaning as someone else so it is about fostering good intentions in people rather than acting based on an emotional response to your interpretation of something. I do understand your ethnics on this though, but it really comes down to doing what you think is right not telling other people what is right. None the less its your channel if it is within the terms of use its really your prerogative just like busy's. I think he is big on giving credit where it is due but I also see what he does as bringing more awareness to things. I don't support not giving credit to people for their contributions but I do think that people should be free to express themselves as long as it isn't infringing other peoples freedoms to advance their own interests. I think calling out hypocracy is good but it can be hard to guage intentions. Like ultimately what are the intentions behind the action, and what are its results, then what is the actual value of the action not just the appearance of the action.

I remember watching this dude in the very beginning of me making music. But I quickly realized he is not very talented and I also outgrew his stuff very quickly. Matter of fact I started watching guys like Navie D after Busy and this was a night and day difference.

Bro, he’s doing it because his views suck. His beats are trash . He had a discord where people had to pay to send in beats and he reviewed them. He literally acted like every beat sucked and then you go and listen to his beats and you’re like who the fuck is this guy to judge anyone’s beats.
