yes , he was a true railwayman , he smoked a pipe and i never heard him raise his voice or swear in all the time i knew him , i have his retirement certificate framed on the wall thanking him for 47 years service , dated jan 1070 , i was one at the time , i was lucky enough to acquire the double pegger from the signal box next to his, circa 1922 , thanks for the chat mate @@Historiespanarna
