I was 53 years old when I realized my long-distance hiking days were over. As enjoyable as the wilderness is, I just couldn't sleep on the ground anymore as I was too stiff in the morning to get my shoes on! I'm now looking into a Project M style camper for my truck to enjoy the great outdoors without the hassle (and expense!) of an RV...and to have a nice, thick mattress on a real bed;)
A real bed! My wife likes the budget mattress (residential queen size) that came with my Rockwood Mini Lite. I want to upgrade. She is happy. Guess who decides on mattresses?
