According to the old folks living close to taal volcano, taal used to be a big mountain until the day it wildly erupted for months and it blew its top, hence what you see now is whats left of it

How many volcanoes are in the Philippines? Well there are (if my memory is correct), 19 historically active volcanoes, among them is the most active one, Mayon volcano in Albay, then Taal volcano in Batangas, and Kanlaon in the island of Negros. But to add even the potentially active and inactive volcanoes, there must be more than 100 of them. Even my hometown, Laguna, has 6 of them -- the largest and yet potentially active one is Mt Makiling.
But sir, looks like Google kinda not showing how many volcanoes do we have cause according to Google. Indonesia has many volcanoes in the world and after I did some more research I just saw USA was the top 1 of the country that has many volcanoes and Indonesia was top 3, I don't really know what's the true answer

If the Toba volcano in Indonesia erupts again, no one will laugh. The Toba volcano is under research and the mountain is in a sleeping state. Not to mention the explosions of Mount Krakatau, Rinjani, Tambora, Agung, Semeru, Merapi, Sinabung, Seulawah Agam, Tangkuban Perahu, and others in Indonesia which if exploded under the same circumstances, civilization would be finished. As an example :
Mount Krakatao, exploded very violently causing a large tsunami with a height of 40 meters, hot and poisonous clouds, volcanic rock rain, earthquakes, loud explosions and cooling temperatures.
Mount Tambora, exploded killing many victims in Europe due to famine, many victims of the explosion in Indonesia, the absence of sunlight for 1 year, hot ash rain for several months, earthquakes with high strength and low tide. Therefore it is called the Year without a summer.
Mount Toba, exploded only leaving 5% of the population worldwide and made the biggest volcanic explosion on earth.
Mount Agung, when it exploded, many tourists wanted to return to their country due to the tsunami and earthquake, so many tourists were detained in Bali at that time and finally the foreign media covered the disaster.
Mount Kelud, when it exploded over the road, resulted in a very thick rain of ash, causing the eye to be unable to see normally and the airport was temporarily closed.
Mount Indonesia can be said to be the most brutal, because at least if it exploded it would have been in the category 3 - 8 VEI and it would cause an earthquake and even a tsunami could occur. Even then, there are more than 400 dormant volcanoes in Indonesia and underwater volcanoes in Indonesia. Indonesia is in the dangerous category with a record of a list of natural disasters that are very large and often occur every year.
