- Borat 2006 Movie Reaction! We're reacting to the Borat Full Movie. This Borat movie reaction had us dying of laughter! Today's Borat reaction features some of the funniest moments in the comedy movie Borat. glad you’re enjoying Borat. Actually, the actor is Jewish. In that bed and breakfast scene when they’re throwing dollars at the bugs, they’re thinking the Jews have transformed into bugs. The film is mocking a bunch of stereotypes about Jews.

This is a documentary about the real America. No more, no less.
Which actually surprised me how nice and patient a lot of these people were lol.
This movie was huge when it came out. EVERYONE and their mother were trying to get the perfect Borat impression. VERY NICE
The main actor's name is Sacha Baron-Cohen, he's a British Jew and not at all from Kazakhstan. He also did Ali G, a very funny tv show and another character he did is called ''Bruno'', where he plays a kind of gay Austrian vegetarian and fashionista. That movie also has a mix of funny and outrageous moments.

Pam Anderson and her security were the only ones in on the joke in advance. Definitely check out Bruno where the same actor plays a gay Austrian model.
Sacha is the ultimate parody expert. He plays so many different characters in his movies. You really must watch "The Dictator" now. It's my absolute favorite from him.

Most of the people are unaware they are being filmed. They think this guy is real. The sequel was Borat 2.
I read that the village scenes were filmed in Romania, non Kazakhstan. After the film came out many people in Romania, and particularly in that village were outraged. The people of Kazakhstan, on the other hand, were just happy for the attention.

It felt like a mockumentary of a mockumentary and I got Inception fever confusion at times

I don't know if this react is in character or not, but either way it's brilliant; either Borat has tricked 1-2 more people, or the reaction adds to the Borat lore. 10/10.
Yes, it's a parody. But, other than his girlfriend, his manager and Pamela Anderson, these are all really random people who were told they'd be part of a documentary about the U.S. p.s. The actor is Jewish, which is why he punches up the Jewish stuff probably more than anything. To quote Dean Martin, we must laugh. Dino wasn't Jewish, but he understood the importance of humor. You guys are fun to watch. You also have big hearts. You're great.

As an inner city New Yorker, I'm one of the many nice and sweet ones. As soon as a New Yorker sees you're from out of town, a proud BS attitude pops up.
May be true, but if anyone comes to america and wants to experience America, stay out of the cities and stick to rural areas/small towns. All cities are soul-less culture-less cesspools of selfishness, crime, and poverty. The days of cities having neighborhood culture and city identity is looooooong gone, if it ever existed.

Most of the people tried to sue after this movie was made for how they were used by Cohen and the production company but all of them lost or had their case thrown out.
I bet they think reality TV is real too.

Sasha Baron Cohen might be the greatest satire actor of all time lol. He has a bunch of funny characters he's been playing for over 20 years.
Funnily enough, my mom actually turned me on to Sacha Baron Cohen's one of his characters Ali G, back when it was just in England. It was basically a sketch show, where his production team would trick real people into doing an interview with him, and then he'd just prank them the whole time. He pranked professional athletes, politicians, important public figures etc.. It was hilarious.
Fast forward 5 years and he comes out with the movie Borat, and a few years later he released the movie Bruno, (Both movies were a spinoff movies based off of his characters he played in the UK). The premise of the movies is to follow a loose storyline, all while pranking real people. I watched Bruno with my mom when I was a teenager. We both knew what to expect because we were fans of him, but it was still jaw dropping lol.
You gotta watch it with your mom, I can tell she'd get a kick out of it 😂

Sacha Baron Cohen is a good actor, he´s from London and he has many good movies. Hugo, Les Miserables, Sweeny Todd the Demon barber and many more.

The " parade" of Jews used to happen in some countries and they were portrayed often similar to this.
Sacha is a British comedian. Borat is just one of his creations. One of the things this film shows is how polite Americans are.
