HIDDEN SCRAP BY OLD PROPELLER (cut scavenging location?)| Mad Max

I got curious on if the giant boat propeller in the Big Nothing was reachable. When I got there, there was a piece of scrap behind it. Could this have been a debris site that was cut when the plans for the map to be endlss was? Let me know what you think.

also if you open your map and look below chumbuckets territory and then you see the road from his sanctum to a camp, go past the camp into the big nothing and set a waypoint south east.

I think they left it there as an easter egg for players who dared to push the limits of how far you can go towards the Big Nothing before taking damage.
Also it would've been so cool if they'd managed to make the big nothing endless and explorable (until you run out of gas).
