Bet ya 50 % of screws are above surface crooked and not in battens but still left there typical Gib fixer it is getting worse gib is rubbish as well everything left to the stopper too make good, then 500 watt halogen light shone over it to make sure it's perfect.

what are the blocks of gib screwed to the walls after its complete for? ...
It helps the GIB board to maintain its flatness, if we don't apply the blocks the glue will make the GIB board to bulge.
