- Tommy Körberg is a Swedish singer, actor and musician. English-speaking audiences know him best for his role as Anatoly/"The Russian" in the musical Chess. He played the role on the 1984 concept album, and on stage in the 1986 world première West End production in London, as well as several times since.
Céline Dion is a Canadian singer. Referred to as the "Queen of Power Ballads", she is noted for her powerful and technically skilled vocals. Her music has incorporated genres such as pop, rock, R&B, gospel, and classical music.

As I said in the video, Céline Dion is a perfectionist so she might have been cranky during the rehearsal. But she's a good sport and, once on stage, understood the moment and how to make it last in our memories forever! Thank to Tommy for putting on a show too! Great charisma and performance from both! Well if you simply don’t know the singer background like Celine did of course she was more surprised than anything I just don’t think that she was mad at all just surprised that’s all 😁🤷♂️

Tommy körberg is a world class singer and definetly one of the very best male singer we have in sweden. He is still to this day absolutly outstanding 75yo. ❤❤❤❤❤

This is so funny! Two divas wanting to, in a friendly way, outshine the other. She was a global megastar at the time. Much more famous that he. But he knew what he could do with his voice and wanted to have a little fun!
Tommy could had been a world famous singer if he had travelled and touring around some countries coz his voice is just amazing and he is the best male singer in Sweden so I have no doubt Tommy would be beloved in so many countries. To me his voice is so powerful that can calm a whole army to their knees.
Körberg was my mother's favorite singer. She died 2 months ago in lungcancer at only 63 years old. She got to see him live however a month before she passed. I will always think of my mom listening to Körberg. Rip.

Since none said this yet, Tommy Körberg had a cold during practice and saved his voice, so this was the first time she heard him sing out. Or so the story goes :)
Yeah, Celine's look (having herself a great voice) hearing Tommy's amazing vocals, is priceless - and yours no less 😆. I don't know if you heard "Anthem" from the Musical "Chess" (written by the male parts of ABBA). It's also amazing - by both Tommys (Körberg and Johansson). 🎶 Merry Christmas y'all 🎄

Dion was quite new at the stage as she has just brake thrue the Eurovission Song Contest.... Tommy was more experianced as he is older, and also the front name of the musical Chess that was running for 10 years on Brodway in London. He wanted to play with her as he know he had really good power, and she didnt exect that... Chess was written my the two men in ABBA....

I have always considered her a reaction as a "Oh you F**ker" look, and she seems pleased and looks more relaxed after his"reveal".
I strongly believe she was happy to not be the main character for once and was able to just relax.
