The speakers could handle dynamic power in the kw range. The reason are of cause the big coil surface. Dynaudio is well known among ekspensive speakers.
It's nothing like an MTX jackhammer. Those have far more plastic trim and extra BS which in no way aids the performance. Whereas this driver is pretty lean, with a compact motor

Then you would get crappy sound. That would defeat the purpose of this design. Larger coil to cone ratio the more control the woofer would have.
