Taff, I think others have mentioned this. If you're going for "soft targets" (pretty much anything but tanks), take more smaller bombs rather than fewer large ones. You get more dispersal of the explosions and are likely to hit more targets. You can tell the 500 kg bomb does NOT have an explosion radius 10 times as large as the 50 kg bomb, so more of a spread is better. Loadout #3, with 17 bombs, would be the best.
Ok will mix up the ordinance in future
With the belly 20 mm gun comes a backward firing 13 mm instead of 7,92 mm. Would be more useful than the nose gun.
That little tank "Hey guys, did you hear something? Guys? GUYS!?!"
There went lunch.
that truck driver on the second raid was probably there reading the paper with a cup of tea and got the fright of his life with an air strike right next to him.
That Yak fighter pilot needs to give his wings back, he could have made a much more imaginative attack esp seeing he had some rockets at hand, but understandably the early war Soviet pilots were very low on experience!
Sweet, love this series, hope to see more soon :)
I wonder if the mission was to damage the airstrip so much it couldn't be used, as opposed to destruction of equipment and facilities?
"Is there a key" I take it that you didn't go through 3 month Luftwaffe Basic Training course for Aviation Navigation in preparation for this series then, I'm very disappointed in you :(
Good couple of missions! :D
Your combat footage edits remind me of the early 90s when I played Red Baron on my PC and used the built in recorder and editing system to make elaborate mini movies of the missions. I spent way more time in the movie editor than the game probably! Love these.
You should be doing all that scanning from the bomber's point of view. There you can also move the plane left or right so you are actually over a target instead of missing all the time. In addition, when you are between two altitude wind speeds, you choose the bottom one. ie, when at 2500 pick the 2000 altitude wind speed, and do not adjust it to the higher one.
Avery good mission and you bombed something. good show.
your wind angle should have been 171. Take the current heading x10 (7.5x10 = 75) then subtract it from the "wind from angle" (246-75=171).
Two more sorties and racking up experience...nice! Just curious, Taff, how does flying the HE-111 compare with the B-17?
Difficult to say as they are in two different sims, but I would say the he111 is more stable a slower speeds and more nimble in the turn as she’s lighter and smaller
that soviet fighter had you dead-to-rights with his wing rockets but ... RED TECH FAILURE ! I could hear him swearing from here. lol BTW, you should have climbed and dived slightly to put off his aim.
"Mission failed successfully!"
I think u should try changing up which bomb scheme u use. With the one ur currently using u should probably try using more flap on takeoffs.
Joseph actually hit somethong? :O
Hi tuff i have the thrustmaster 16000m and IL2 it does not work for me. Any idea why? I have joystick on in options and still does not work. Please help.
i had the same problem but all of a sudden it started working, try plugging it into a different usb port
lol again how is that a failure? Seems fairly successful to me....
Taff, who do you prefer to bomb 💣, the Germans or the Russian while your playing as the Germans?. When it comes to been playing with the fighters which side you prefer the English or the German fighters?.
How come you've never done a soviet career?
Err good point I don’t know, will have to do one
Put the subtitles back or I am going to unsubscribe
You know you could ask instead of coming across as a dick about it. He is being good enough to create content for everyone.
Just ask nicely or use captions jeez
There is no need to be so rude, m8!
@@colindouglas7769 nah, that's probably the only power guy had in his life ;_;
