His mom would beat his ass if he open that thing up in front of their house, notice all the cars that means mom and dad are successful success breeds discipline rather discipline breeds success and that young man knows discipline he’s lucky to have that car but more lucky to have those parents
Camaro's are a nice looking car. That Formula Firebird is so much better in appearance in my opinion. One of my all time favorites. Better than a T.A. also.
A few utes parked on the property, muscle car in the garage, and to top it off you have good Australian weather. Living the dream! Watching on from ice cold Sweden!
Yes indeed.. I like the Brewster over the lime green lol. She's a beauty. I've got a 79 with the 400 4 speed. What a beast ❤. Cheers from the States 🇺🇸 my man!! One thing I've noticed Australians and Americans love the muscle. I've a G8.. my daughter has a G8 thoroughly enthralled they're Holdens 🇦🇺
When I was a little fella I saw one of these fine cars, it was almost new, now more than 5 decades later it still looks fresh with its clean lines and appealing shape.
I always like dark greens like that, they really look good at night, have to watch it again look like it had 2 wide black stripes ,I remember Chuck Norris like that in one of his movies different color, I think you said big block is that a 455 muscle power, Wake the Beast 🦅
Yay yay yay!! Man I love this car!! 1971 great year as well lol! The year I was born. Anyway the formula 400 is the best looking Pontiac! The hood is what does it! Love the paint, wheels and again that hood and they needed that spoiler out back like yours to make it complete. Again awesome car!!
The Formula was a Firebird model that had all the high performance mechanical components of a Trans Am without the flashy graphics. It's what you would call a sleeper car.
There were some spellcheck errors last comment .. tyres not time , MSD not mad .car is my son's - the young guy deriving it . I've had plenty Dayton pace cars , gold special edition , best was a wS6 , W72 four speed 1978 black T/A Targa delete .. code named " angle fire" but I must admit this car takes the cake the rear window makes these early Firebirds . I've owned 1969 Mack ones four speed H code 2 plus 2 race spec 450 hp tubular suspension Lincoln Continental 4 wheel brakes the hole 9 metres ( were metric over here ) , 72 challenger 340 , hemi chargers , this drives better than any of them .
Only thing you got wrong in that entire vid is that there werent any big blocks offered by Pontiac. They were all the same block. Other than that great video man!
@@campervanbug7658 No Pontiac never made a big block. The different displacements were a result of their bore and stroke. Now Buick and Oldsmobile made a big block with their 455s but Pontiac made 1 technically small block and changed the bore and stroke. Going to deck height, they were all roughly the same around 10.24".
There 17 X 9 year one time 255 /40 up front and 275 /35 rear tyres . 1 inch lowering springs and 2 inch lowering drop spindles , was originally lime green . Also has full ws6 1981 trans am suspension and brakes 4x4 disc . Full painless wiring harness , mad electronics , edlbrock carb etc car was in a tv show with Dwayne the rock Johnson . Burleigh heads Australia .
John Wayne drove a beautiful Super Duty 455 V-8 Brewster Green Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in the 70s movie "Mc Q." I cringed in disappointment when they wrecked it 😖
Those wheels are similar to the rally ii wheels offered at the time. They might be chevy wheels or ford wheels but they are a cosmetic change they didnt change anything else on the car.

Hate the wheels.....cant stand 17's or 20's on a muscle car.......no sidewall.....looks ridiculous......15" with appropriate tires wud fill the wheelwell, and look great, hate new crap........dont look rite...modernization has done a disservice to the hobby......PUT 15'S ON IT, with a 255 rear, and 225 front.......16's, 17's, 18's, or 20's look hideous......just me, i'm old school
Problem is Tim. Most of those old cars are gone because 1. Stupid driver. 2. Skinny worthless, bias poly-glass or Radial T/A, Firehawk SS and Cobra tires and 3. Drum brakes. I ditched the rally’s and drums to save myself and may car. Now when I drop 530 lbs of torque to the pavement, the car doesn’t eat up 3 lanes looking for a place to kill me. And, when I hit the brakes, she stops. The way it was, even fresh and correct, was sketch. 215/70R14s (90s Ford Ranger tires) on 6” wheels, don’t hook up… at all. And 4 wheel drums even when adjusted up tight won’t lock above 35 mph. Adios nostalgia! 😉
Your neighbors are lucky to have that sound, and for free, in their neighborhood. No reason why you shouldn't charge them monthly.
That's a nice piece of property, too... there's room for plenty of vehicles!

Love this car! Reminds me of my 1973 T/A.
Proud to say I had one of these during my teen age years back when nobody wanted them. Bought it for $1500 at Empire Chevrolet in Novato ca. 1976.
My first car was a 71 formula 400
Great car

Love the sound of an old pontiac motor
the 71s are the prettiest year

Great wheel choice! I wish I had those on my GTO.

My first car was a red and black one of these. In the movie "repo man" they took one just like it. Still dream about it sometimes.
THANK YOU for blinding us with the headlights!

Like the one in McQ that John Wayne drove. Up to my ass in gas.

Have you ever seen or worked on a Pontiac 400 they are definitely big blocks!

I really feel sorry for Americans because they will not made a great cars.. Since 1980
where did you get those wheels? please
Look up US Mags Bandit U-109.
If there is anything wrong with this video I can’t see it…except maybe the garage is too small.
Only thing wrong with this video is that he's driving on the wrong side of the road 😂
Perfect color. Nice spoiler lip at the front... But it's not a big block!!! 😅😁
Green is Awesome!! My SLP Firehawk is Green! Only 49 of them of 500!! See my vids! Thumbs up.
Dude you're totally wrong they're all Big blocks or smallblocks
But those hideous wheels and rubber band tires ruin it!
Those wheels are similar to the rally ii wheels offered at the time. They might be chevy wheels or ford wheels but they are a cosmetic change they didnt change anything else on the car.
I have the same color car but mine is a 73 with a white vinyl top and white interior. The carcommands attention wherever it goes
Why does everyone drive on the wrong side of the road in British (Irish?) videos? 🤣
It’s Australia
Beautiful car! Rims are too modern, way out of place
