Yes Steve, all the trusses and infill timber came from the same supplier😶Cheers Del
@@thetallcarpenter unfortunately it appears that its endemic and not a supplier issue. Lots of people saying the same thing.
@@dadcanufixit I think you're right Steve😩And we will be seeing/feeling the fallout of shutting down the global economy and supply chains for many years to come especially in the quality and availability of construction materials😵💫
@@thetallcarpenter spot on here Del, the demand went up and supply went down. The resulting vacuum in the supply has brought in all the sediment just to fill demand. You do a nloody great job with what you got though
@@dadcanufixit 'the vacuum has brought in all the sediment' I love this Steve, and such a great way of putting it👍
I Don't think the lead apron around the back is gonna hide the block work..
Let's say the lead upstand of the flashing will be a but wider than normal DJ😉Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
I need a job are there opportunities available for me.‽
Hi Tyliko🖐I'm sorry but I only work on my own on a small building team😶Thanks for asking though👍Cheers Del
Nice video once again Del.
How's the Fischer nail gun holding up?
Hi Clint🖐Thanks for watching bud, and I am really pleased with how the Fisher gun is performing👊It's doesn't seem as easy to get into tighter spaces than my old Paslode, but the power and performance is really good👍Cheers Del
Why is there no cavity trays at top of trusses 👍🏴
Hi Peter🖐That's the bricklaying department😉 Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Yes I know was just wondering roof looking good 👍
Where the fk is all the cavity trays 😳😳🤔🤔🤔🤔
Hi coggsy🖐I'm sure the builders fit everything they are required to👍It's not my department so I don't really take any notice, I'm just here for the carpentry 🤩 Cheers Del
Going to be one big flashing to cover block work🫣
Well spotted Peter👍You will be able to see it in its full glory when I do a finished roof walk around video😶 Cheers Del
@@thetallcarpenter by the time you have a batton and tile on that, the block work should be fine with lead flashing
@@paulcloona9331 It's probably a couple of inches bigger than it needed to be Paul, but not horrific to look at😉 Cheers Del
