Q&A
34:41 Almost every family I know has difficult relationships with parents and children (including adult children), estrangement between siblings, etc. Are there resources that you could point to that might be helpful in being a conduit for the peacemaking and reunification work that the Holy Spirit desires to do?
35:56 Being someone who is in the political arena, who values Biblical truth and all that is not popular in today’s society/culture, it is increasingly difficult to be a loving Truth-teller according to the Word of God. How do you have the courage and emotional ability to withstand the storm that will come when we speak hope and life?
36:39 Intentionally engaging with the person, not the ideas we may not agree with
36:50 Employing non-religious words to speak Truth, which requires being familiar with the principles of the Word of God
37:25 Remembering that Jesus died for “that person” just as much as for me and created each of us with a specific plan, destiny and purpose
37:33 Unveiling truth wrapped in tender mercy, rather than focusing on the law (John 1:16-17)
37:41 Balancing sincere hopefulness with the truth of how God works, remembering that our primary allegiance is to the “Audience of One”
37:50 Valuing individuals by reaching out to encourage and affirm them-especially those we disagree with
39:07 Receiving God’s comfort in our suffering so we can come alongside others and pass the same comfort on to them (2 Corinthians 1:3-7)
39:16 Fixing our eyes on Jesus-as difficulties increase, our hope becomes unshakable
39:24 Daily cultivating and experiencing life of the Holy Spirit daily in our lives
