The impact of global conflicts have given rise to increased uncertainty and fear. Three aspects of human experience arise from conflict: cries of Sorrow arising from loss, demands for Justice, and questions about Love in the face of seeming indifference to our suffering. Abdu Murray explores how ancient wisdom can resolve all three aspects of conflict in a way that brings peace that defies our circumstances.

00 Introductory Remarks
00 UN Golden Rule Mosaic - “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.”
13 The idea of unity is becoming more and more eroded as time goes on, as humanity seems to have lost its humanity.
44 At its core, the work of the US, based on the Golden Rule, is about narrowing the gap between the world as it is, and the world as we want it to be.
04 Narrowing the gap between the world as it is, and the world that we want?
46 “God whispers to us in our pleasure. He speaks to us in our conscience. But He shouts to us in our pain. It is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” - C.S. Lewis
56 Three facets of the human experience arise from every form of conflict: sorrow, justice and love.
18 Peace, shalom, salaam, eiríni isn’t merely the absence of strife, or violence. It is wholeness, reconciliation, the sense of being made whole once again.
16 "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled. Neither let them be afraid." - Jesus
34 The only peace amidst conflict is the kind of peace that doesn't depend on the lack of conflict; it's that pure, whole, complete relationship with the Father that no violence or injustice can take away.
36 A profound encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman - John 4
19 What does it mean for Jesus to be the Saviour of the world?
45 The crux of the matter: the crucifixion of Jesus, where everything converges.
36 Sin cannot simply be overlooked, it has to be dealt with.
18 We’re all in the same air. We smell the same stink. But it’s a stink we all created.
58 A unique way to offer peace: Do unto others, even if they never do good things to you.
51 Could this peace-the shalom, the eiríni, the salaam, the wholeness with God, and then with each other-help us narrow the gap between the world as it is, and the world as we want it to be?
