if you set the multi-function knob to braking %, you can turn the braking way down, they have it set waaaaaaay to high form the factory (Press and hold menu for 3 seconds, press set after one green blink, press menu until there is 4 red blinks on the TX LED, then press set, press and hold menu until the status led is a solid green. TSM is also run in the background when the multi function knob is assigned to a different task.)

I really like the erevo and the slash but there really is nothing like the Xmaxx. It’s just a totally different feeling. I would like to get a UDR that seems really nice to. I look forward to your videos every day bro I been with u since you had about 300 subscribers. Keep it up.
Damn Kev you going off on the cheap solder with your accent is funny as hell really like that accent haha. And those xt90 connectors melt quite a bit. The erevo is simply amazing. Got mine finally green as well but here in Canada just waiting for the rest of snow to melt and dry up before I take her out. Couldn't stand to get it muddy the first go haha
It’s a good system I had a lot of issues with mine though wiring was messed up but it’s all fixed now and runs greats 👍

I wanted a slash real bad but now you made it hard for me again, the e-revo looks more controllable and it's spoiler is a good wheelie bar, I hate cheap solder I am no expert but no your pain, silder hahahah china the mark of quality lol.
Omg! I want one. Last month i got the rustler vxl and fell in love withthis hobby. I see this new revo 2.0 i want one !!! Btw I also purchased some cheap role of soldering and I thought it was just my horrible soldering skills and my cheap solder but now I do believe there is cheap soldering rolls out there. Great vid!

I bought a rustler vxl 2wd a couple years ago. I drove the piss out of that thing. I’m waiting for fed ex to bring me the last e revo 2.0 I found on the web. They said today but I don’t think there’s anyway it will be here today:(:(:(

@@joshmusser9934 I recently acquired the Stampede VXL 4x4 that thing is so fun to play with. I love running it apple tree and watching it back flip. My friend got the rustler 4x4 VXL that thing is a beast you can definitely tell that thing has power. And it runs on One battery instead of two batteries

@@xpedalpusherx Actually I did, but the first gen. Needs diffs, they are still on backorder so gonna be later this month. It does standing backflips on 4s and handles absolutely perfectly, I love it. Honestly though, my surprise favorite RC right now is my Arrma Big Rock. Picked one up last year from my LHS, recently dropped in a 4s esc from Hobbywing, and it's insanely powerful. Still running stock motor, and gearing which stays at surprisingly comfortable temps. Stock driveline and tires are taking it pretty well also. Reason I'm so surprised that I love it as much as I do, is because the Big Rock is a long wheelbase good handling truck, and I tend to prefer short wheelbase trucks because I like the stunts. Thing is, the Big Rock handles really well at speed, pretty easy to keep control of, and it allows me to hit ramps flat out pretty easily and land it nicely. It's pretty awesome, probably one of the best value RCs on the market right now, even on 3s it's pretty good. At any rate, I'll enjoy the Erevo again soon, just need those upgraded diff gears.

Need to get a soldier iron like I got , it's a Weller has a knob for hear to turn in it or down it's the best at soldiering I love it works wonders
The new e revo has self righting and also it has the gearing that you need to hit certain speeds on the side of the box

I have the same trouble with cheap solder Kev, it wouldn't melt even at the highest temperature setting. Load of crap, in the bin with it 🤘

You have to gear it up to do the 70. I Clock mine at 53 out of the box
Wired RC does it come with a battery out of the box if not I'm gucci I got a 3s but my slash 4x4 will run 2s

ha that front flip. I was doing that on 50/50 throttle neutral and even worse on 70/30. Then I got the wireless module and dialed braking/reverse down to like 35% and live is grand.
When you have the camera on you, do you mount it in your head or chest?
Im not sure what's in there for shock oil, but I'd definitely get thicker stiff. 80wt is what I run in my summit. That should work well!
For you battery cable , just cut an hole on the back side of the battery door (black) to pass the cable , because the stock small hole in the chassis is a pain !
It's not 70+ because you don't have the high speed gearing but over all you keep up the good work kev

....But doe's it come close to the awesomeness of the x-maxx? Because everything else is a mere speed bump for the maxxy...It's sheer epicness kinda ruins it for anything that follows.

pb is plumbum = lead . sn is tin so 37 % is lead and 63% is tin

Are the connectors you are using XT60's or XT90's? I got a Revo 2.0 I just ordered and my drone's got XT60's. I'd love the truck to have the same connector, but I dont think XT60 will handle 6s.
i have a first gen Erevo with the castle motor and esc, i cant even give it full throttle at highspeeds without it wanting to do a rolling backflip... just Madness.

The emaxx is taller and doesn't have cantilever suspension so there nothing like each other.
Spoke with Traxxas and they aren't sure if the Emaxx platform will ever come in a 2.0 version, I'd rather have the emaxx over the erevo due to shock design but that may never happen. If your Xmaxx rolls over all the time take a few minutes and learn how to make those turns, I have an xmaxx and and I simply slow down, make the turn and haul butt with wheelies or whatever.

How did you get this revo, are they not on sail until in mid june?
Traxxas' manual on the revo 2.0 says the stock gearing is good for 30+ mph. Put 46 spur 20 pinion and good for 70+, according to the manual
