Teyssere Photo I have a leopard 4282 1650kv however I’m going to upgrade it to a leopard 5882 1350kv as I like more power and it should fit right in with the stock motor mount
I did the same basically. Bought a Hoss 3S and broke several parts replacing them with upgraded parts until I broke something I had to wait for a few days into owning it. Went to the Hobby store and came home with the X-MAXX and Dual Live 28 charger with 2 4S batteries totaling $1500. Destroyed the X-MAXX plastic servo within 2 hours of owning it. Couldn’t get an immediate replacement plastic one nor could I get any upgraded servo in town. So I ordered a ProModeler 930 kit with 2S LiPo battery and horn, now waiting for the stupid mounting bracket for it, so I ordered a 1 day shipping plastic gear servo to get it back in service. First day out with the replacement servo in the X-MAXX and I broke a rear shock mount. Purchased the upgraded aluminum shock mounts but having to wait a week to get them delivered. So I went and purchased 2 x E-REVO 6S (one for my dad) Broke the plastic gear in the motor second day owning it, purchased metal gear. Nothing else broken on the E-REVO yet but I went ahead and ordered 2 x 400 High Torque servos for my E-REVO and then bought a Savox or however you spell it high torque servo for $70 open box MSRP at $150. Got the HOSS back running with all upgraded parts in suspension and body mounting. Waiting on X-MAXX shock mounts and servo adapter. And E-REVO is about to have all of its upgrades installed tonight.
I bought a Maxx a couple weeks ago after watching many videos. Yes, the Wide kit is NEEDED. It turns so much better. If you want to have the Maxx not wheelie so much at speed, adjust the spring tension on the shocks. I can have it flat out and not lift the front wheels off on grass too. Adjust the spring tensioner on the shock to shorten the distance of travel about 1/8 of an inch at a time (2-3mm). I think I'm about 8-9mm less and it doesn't want to wheelie so easily. If you do a lot of jumps though, don't remove spring travel distance.
@@marryalen6286 6700s technically don't fit but I modded my battery tray to make it longer and I use velcro straps going through plastic to hold the battery in there. The 5000 battery is the largest battery for the MAXX and fits with no modifications.
Having owned a very well built e-revo 2.0, I'd take the Maxx. When my Dad wanted to get a fast basher, I directed him right to the Maxx for the pure fact that it's super durable.
Just picked up the Maxx after having an OUtcast 4s for awhile. Wanted a new RC but didnt want to get new batteries so the Maxx was it. Bought the red and blue version with the red wide kit. And have the blank and red body on the way. Looking forward to upgrades, etc.

The problem though is many people have broken a lot of things on the Kraton 6S despite it having metal driveshafts and such, compared to nobody ever having to replace things on the Maxx despite its plastic components. People love how indestructible the Maxx is, but they live the steering and ergonomics of the Kraton 6S better. Really just depends on what you want out of the car. I ordered my E-Revo 2.0 and i'm getting tomorrow and it was such a hard decision to choose over the Maxx. The Maxx is more durable , but you can only do so much with it. The E-Revo 2.0 has the potential to be the best at everything. You can't change the gearing on the Maxx to hit 70 mph like the E-Revo 2.0 can. You can mod the E-Revo 2.0 to the point its bullet proof, and once you get to that point I think the E-Revo 2.0 becomes the best r/c you can get. And isn't the point of owning an r/c is to mod/repair it. I feel like it's just one and done with the Maxx, where the E-Revo 2.0 you get the full experience of owning an r/c.
Man....I got both recently....The Maxx can take a beating....The E revo can 2...all I had to do was swap out the push rods....part number 8619 was a game changer
Joshua yup, the erevo can be lifted or further lowered, it has tons of suspension travel and ridiculously endless adjustments, it only has a few weak points in the servos and rear droop travel, and has superior electronics. . What makes the erevo so fun is hucking it into a power slide at 30mph and just watching huge plumes of dirt rise out of the ground as it drifts for 100 feet.
I bought a widemaxx after watching this🙂 I got a Revo 1 with the 6s castle jet engine system(I love it🥰) and it is widened too.I think these cars are the best combo to own for bashing! There are better wheelie bars out there for us who don't think wheelies are all that cool. Thanks, for making good videos for us! Cheers from Norway
I had both trucks at the same time, didn't like the Maxx at first. But after the wide conversion and metal drive shafts, it made the Maxx into a whole different beast. Ultimately, sold my erevo 2.0 since the Maxx fit my needs better, but the 2.0 is still one heck of a truck.
Hi, I just bought now the E-Revo 2.0 and after first ride, amazing, no issues, super control and handling. Our Outcast and Notorious are under big pressure now :-) the Notorious flips around and is fun but all day repairs needed and that fed me up and now I have a car which out of the box really runs and handles sooooo much better :-) thanks to your videos and recommendations I am finally where I wanted to be. :-)
Awesome comparison!! To allow the Maxx to not roll over and jump & land nicely you could put really heavy weight shock oil in the shocks, such as 70 or 80 weight. This will make the suspension stiffer, which will reduce body roll and it should make the Maxx land better. Hope this helps with the handling of the Maxx. Keep it up!! 👍👊😉
@@cameroneshleman4833 I don't actually have a Maxx but I think 70 or 80 weight would not bend the shock shafts as the shocks are very large and strong. 👍
Awesome comparison of the two. I think your comment " The E-Revo is more fun to Drive and the Maxx is more fun to own.", pretty much sums it up. Great video..
Love the video! I suppose what your saying is you’d buy the Maxx with your head, and the Revo 2.0 with your heart. Can tell you love the Revo truly as whenever your talking about it you smile and that’s really what the hobby is about. Time to have a look at some Revo 2.0’s for sale :)
I’ve got an erevo 2.0 with few upgrades, I prefer speed over durability. I’ve only crashed my erevo once into an electrical box when I wasn’t looking. I would definitely get a sledge before any slash or XMAXX. I definitely love truggies!
Good video thanks. I thinks it’s the maxx for me! 💪🏼 Played with my uncles maxx not the wide kit, and I see how necessary the wide kit is! But had a lot of fun riding wheelies lol
Just got a used E-Revo 2.0 for $100. Ordered all new center Trans gears and case, complete bearing kit, steal pushrods, pivot seals, rear brace and 85mm limiters, and several more parts ($165 total). I've taken it down to kit form and rebuilding. Got diffs built and everything cleaned. Should be a ripper when done! I've got a Wide-Maxx also and it takes a royal BEATING!
I'm with you, I love the Erevo 2.0. I've got both a TP Power 4070CM 2200kv and 2700kvmotor and a Castle XLX2 for it and its turned it into a monster. I've also run it on 8S with the TP 2200kv motor. All I can say is wow! Great video btw👍
that revo is killing it . too bad it has those constricting lipo trays and takes 2 lipos to run it . i was happy to see they finally came out with a monster truck that uses only 1 lipo and has a more forgiving lipo tray .
A few things on the ERevo . I Got my EREVO 2.0 this year in April. Traxxas has made a few updates. Push rod ends are twice as long as the old ones. Push rods are a dark metallic grey color and are slightly thicker and the threaded end is threads at least twice the distance into the beefier rod ends. Tie Rods - I also believe the tie rods have gotten the same treatment as the push rods. They are still chrome. Don't quote me on the tie rods tho. Motor Leads - there is a zip tie securing the motor Leads to the rear chassis brace to prevent them from flopping around and breaking the wire like yours did. I highly recommend securing your motor Leads to prevent them from flopping around and fatiguing, then failing again. Great videos and reviews. 👍🏾
I don’t have a revo 2.0 but I do have a maxx and it takes a beating! We’ve spent nearly $400 on upgraded parts for a rustler 4x4 vxl and zero on the maxx in a month and the maxx has had more devastating wrecks without breaking. We recently upgraded to the proline badlands 3.8’s on the maxx and for our driving, it was a huge upgrade. We haven’t put on the widemaxx kit yet but that’s because the upgraded driveshafts have been on back order. I didn’t want to spin my plastic shafts before the new ones were available. I’m sure the revo is great but the maxx is just plain awesome.
I bought an e revo 2.0 over a year ago. It has taken some serious abuse that I thought would break parts and it hasn’t yet. It’s been a beast and a blast. My rustler used to break on a weekly basis......
This was a great video and a really good look in depth at both these great trucks. After considering everything, I think I’ll go with a erevo 2.0. It just looks good, it looks like it is a blast to drive, and I like it’s big size also as I run on some pretty tough terrain it’s never flat. Great thanks 👋🇨🇦. You easily have the best and covered every corner review on these two trucks that I’ve watched. Either way I’m a long time viewer so I always respect your take on the Traxxas stuff
Outsourced RC yes always enjoy and you have an excellent driveway and grass area to run! I often have to take mine out to run but luckily I have some nice spots just 5-10 minute drives from my house at least! I really should scoop up a erevo 2.0 they are out of stock everywhere near by. I’ll wait a bit for some to come back into the hobby shop
I'm getting the e Revo 2.0. I'll get the shock braces and limiters and metal gears for the servos. I've driven a friend's e Revo 2.0 and actually liked it more then the X Maxx. The Revo just handles way better.
Yea we’re enjoying the Hoss My son does want to bash and I’ll keep it under control because yea it’s fun to fix them also, but can be kind of expensive Plus to just have the time to fix them can be an issue sometimes between work and all the sports the kids are in...lol Thank you again for always answering your Subscribers and fans
Bought my wife a maxx a couple months ago and she has beat the hell out of it. She had to replace her tires because she gets them soaked in muddy water then goes full tilt across a field and blows the foams out. We are going to replace her toe links because they have a little play in them but over all it is a beast. I have a 2wd slash that breaks every other time I use it and it's mostly RPM... my repairs are all drivetrain related for my slash since I have all the needed upgrades to make it basically indestructible. Gears, axles, and clutch.. that's all I break now...I have been waiting for my wife to break something because she hits trees all the time... nothing yet..
Thank you for your Good Videos! Really enjoying them! You are a very sympathic guy! i’m now back to RC Cars (After 20 years paused)and bought an e revo for my 38tj Birthday next Weekend 😃 cant wait to rip off that box and enjoy 😍
everybody wants to dethrone e-revo 2.0 but is such a cool car, I went once to a park with a friend that didn't know much about RC Cars and I brought my x-maxx and the e-revo 2.0. My friend wanted to drive the e-revo 2.0 all the time.
I have both and I need to remember to point people here that ask me which I prefer. Couldn't say it any better! Great video. *Subscribed and liked as well
Great video as always! Also got the Maxx is Erevo 2.0. I couldn't agree more with your video and I also prefer the Erevo. I'm liking the Maxx too but its durability has been questionable with me... In two months of little use due to the quarantine a tire blew and now one of the plastic driveshaft has broken and the parts (if not because of Covid) are hard to find. I just bought the metal ones that haven't arrived yet. Please continue to produce this quality content!
I have the Maxx, and I'm so glad I do now. I don't like changing out parts, so the Maxx it for me. It's supper fun. I don't have the upgraded A arms, but it's still a lot of fun. Thanks for your Video's. I'm on my 4th set of drift wheels for the Rustler. They do wear out.
Heavier shock oil will improve the landing performance. The car is at full droop while in air. Its the trucks shock compression on the way down that really matters. Increase your oil weight to 65-70.
I have the maxx and I really enjoy it. I've yet to run it on 4s and on 3s it has plenty. Only issue so far is the battery came out, but may have been due to doing quick stops and doing front flips.
I found that duct taping the entire body with a cool duct tape will increase the durability by 95 percent I have the original revo body and I got a cool looking graffiti type tape on it and that thing doesn't even have a scratch on it after bashing lol looks just like a vinyl wrap super cool! Just an idea👍
@@kevinsinger7941 I duct taped the entire body like a vinyl wrap on a car.....with a cool design duct tape and it looks insanely good!!! I bought a Maxx two weeks ago and 100% am happy with the choice. The wide kit for the Maxx is a must. You can also adjust the sprint rate and it really helps to reduce the wheelies.
Great video!! I always look forward to watching your videos. Question I know how much you love your e Revo 2.0. I am either going to buy a e Revo or an xmaxx. I know that they are very different trucks. I am a lot like you as I enjoy sitting in my back yard and driving my RC cars. I am leaning towards the xmaxx as I love the size and look of the truck so much. If you had to choose one what would it be? Xmaxx or e Revo? Thanks!!
Get an x maxx for sure if you can my buddy has the revo i have the x maxx its worth the money. Mine was stolen and ill be building a new one on my channel soon with all the upgrades to make it so strong.
I have both and I can say that the XMAXX is just overall better. E Revo out of the Box needs Limiting Straps and New servos (not really if you set up end points correctly and turn off tsm.)
I would choose the erevo myself. More cost efficient and I feel it's more fun to drive. The xmaxx will ride willys all day if that's what you like though. I myself have yet to run a car I enjoy better than my erevo honestly.
I have the Maxx, but if I had the money, I would get the XMAXX, My friend has one, and it's just a lot beefier than than E Revo. The E Revo is more like the Maxx, so the XMAXX is a big step above the E Revo.
We had THREE - what a huge mistake for baskers- Limited suspension, aluminum lower rear A- arms, You name it I tried it - I don't think any of them ever ran long enough without breaking to drain a set of packs when bashing. Ran on track plenty of times with no issues. Fixed it permanently by selling all three separately on Craigslist and FB marketplace and buying an Arrma Kraton 6s and two Notorious 6s's. I still love traxxas but the issues with the revo 2.0 killed it for us. If the Maxx had been available at the time I would have bought them. It is super tough !
Great video to watch. I'm getting an e revo, upgrading from a 3 year old 2x2 ruslter. I'm in canada so this car with batteries and everything is 1300$.

Even though the e revo 2.0 is discontinued, and is clearly not as durable, I still like the design. Its a bit quirky, but that is what makes it cool. Plus it handles amazingly well! I'm sure I'll pick one up at a swap meet one day. This was a thorough comparison of these two cars.
I like to ride, not to wrench. It's why I have a Honda instead of a Harley. Still love Harleys, tho, and would own one if I had the money to spend. I like to drive my RC, not work on it. It's why I have a Maxx and not an E-Revo. Still love the E-Revo, tho, and would own one if I had the money to spend.
Outsourced RC I was just just wondering because no one else is done it. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to put the 2.0 upgrades on the 1.0 they I already have
no review needed; I had a revo v1 and it was an enormous design mistake by Traxxas. Horrible amount of breakage, super poor design, just stay far away from them. Honestly Traxxas should buy them back from anyone- thats how bad they are. I bought a 2.0 and it does decent with reliability but I still fix more than I 'd like to.
I think its better when the front dont pick up all the time you pushe the gas, because you have more control over the car when the tires on road when higher speed...
My friend has a maxx and it seem to break way more than my revo and revo has way more power. He mainly breaks drive shaft. he has put 6 drives shaft so far and it probably 4 months old now. I'm tried his max and I really like how it drives and how it bashes. I just recently changed my mind about traxxas. When I was 16 I had saved up money to buy a traxxas tmaxx 2.5 and it broke all the time only good thing about it was the motor. It made me hate traxxas then last year I bought a slash 4x4 platnum and just wow the durability is amazing and it handles so good on track so traxxas got me back as a customer Then I bought a revo 3,3 great truck then got a e revo and love that thing as well. So glad traxxas stepped up thair game from t-maxx
@@outsourcedrc Hello. Im really like your videos which shows real experiences. Im exactly hesitate what to buy. I have Slash 4x4 Brushless for almost 5 years and it is really durable truck. But i want some new and can not decide that should be E-revo or Maxx.... Its shame that Maxx comes with plastic driveshafts, so it cost another 160$ for have the same durable driveshafts, like e-revo 2.0 has in stock. Which making Maxx more expensive at the start then the E-revo 2.0 is. My Slash has now Badlands MX28 or Prime Street 2.8, Suspension arm guards, t-bone servo plate, RPM arms and other upgrades. But heavy Badlands MX28 with extreme traction, destroy without problems steel driveshafts(rear). But it is my fault, because i wanted bigger wheels and tires. In stock setup is Slash really durable. I think that switch to Maxx from the Slash is not really upgrade like chose the E-revo. Am I right? If you buy Slash someday, dont forget to buy shock stampede protection Traxxas 6733, Traxxas 6732. And one pair of RPM 80702, also i using Dusty Motors Traxxas Slash 4X4 protective shroud cover from the start of using my Slash. These few parts are essential for make Slash much more durable. I also bought RPM front and rear bumper, aluminium shock cups, but this upgrade can wait, few days or weeks :-) Im using also Proline body mounts on my Slash for alternative bodies. But after i broken another pair of GPM steel driveshaft, im switch to TRA6852A and PROLINE TRENCHER X SC 2.2/3.0" for some time with no break driveshafts. Slash is really durable, but you must not experience with a heavy or high traction wheels, like MX28 are. Because steel driveshafts not helps so much. In the front, there is not problem. I have there some steel and its working whole years, but rear is the bottleneck. On the other way, Pro-line Prime Street 2.8 are the drifting beasts with the Slash and 11T pinion. This wheels does not helps to break anything, because of different grip than the MX28. Sorry for my broken English. I just wanted to write few words and tips if you really want to buy Slash. I really think that for example Ultimate Slash is waste of money. Why making aluminium tank? I change what is broken with RPM. Steel driveshafts were only plastic to steel/aluminium upgrade and shock cups. Rest of parts can stay in plastic and change after its broken to RPM part. But im still don't know, if E-revo 2.0 or Maxx V2. Maybe i last one more year with the Slash and then switch to X-Maxx, because i hate compromises :-D
It is still a comparison between a Monstertruck and Truggy. So no surprises here. But Revo is abused as a basher, what he is not. Thats why both cars are great in his mentioned use.
Rick David no more rollovers? I’ve been debating on a widemaxx kit but I hear it effects handling a ton. Turning radius turns to shit but maybe it needs a servo upgrade after the wide kit

Where did you get your E revo 2.0 every where around here is sold out I found one place online has 1 in stock
If money doesn’t matter to buy one of them what should I get xmaxx, revo 2.0 or maxx?
The fun factor matters the most to me!
Exactly man! I agree how the crap can you really review something the day that you buy it!
Love my maxx
Awesome comparison!! To allow the Maxx to not roll over and jump & land nicely you could put really heavy weight shock oil in the shocks, such as 70 or 80 weight. This will make the suspension stiffer, which will reduce body roll and it should make the Maxx land better. Hope this helps with the handling of the Maxx. Keep it up!! 👍👊😉
I'm assuming you have a Maxx. Do you think 80 weight would bend the shock shafts, or cause other parts to break? Thanks
@@cameroneshleman4833 I don't actually have a Maxx but I think 70 or 80 weight would not bend the shock shafts as the shocks are very large and strong. 👍
@@innovativerc7155I appreciate the response man. Have a good one👍🏻
great advice i live in the uk and was undecided .... this video has made my mind up..... e revo 2.0 ...... thanks 👍👍👍
I HAV THE MAXX AND THE MINI REVO (MERV) AND EVEN AT 1/16 THAT THING TEARS IT UP!! AWESOME VIDEO MAN.
I would buy the MAXX because the E-REVO has some servo issues and I don't like fixing electronics and the MAXX is way more durable.
Love the Maxx its a helluva truck......... With sooo many companies making aftermarket parts you will be setup for years of enjoyment...... Cheers
Maxx all day, well mine anyway, modified a lot, must of put 1k into it

I own 2 erevos 2.0. Many mods. On both hundreds of hrs on both there my favorite traxxas.
Awesome comparison of the two. I think your comment " The E-Revo is more fun to Drive and the Maxx is more fun to own.", pretty much sums it up. Great video..
Thanks!
Excellent comparison. I have both and agree with you on both trucks. Bottom line is they are both a lot of fun!
Enormously helpful video. Thank you so much...
Also, what a beautiful property you have!
You are welcome and thanks!
You did great on the video, you have me sold on the Erevo. Thanks for this video.
Agreed, me too
The Maxx is so cool! ...but the Revo 2.0 is the best of the best ... absolutely love it!
Thats a lot of work, but sounds like a pretty good deal
@@outsourcedrc It's my favorite part of the hobby 👍😁
I'm with you, I love the Erevo 2.0. I've got both a TP Power 4070CM 2200kv and 2700kvmotor and a Castle XLX2 for it and its turned it into a monster.
I've also run it on 8S with the TP 2200kv motor. All I can say is wow!
Great video btw👍
Great toys and lovely space to run them in. A pleasure to watch this thanks.
Thanks!
that revo is killing it . too bad it has those constricting lipo trays and takes 2 lipos to run it . i was happy to see they finally came out with a monster truck that uses only 1 lipo and has a more forgiving lipo tray .
Thanks. The tie rods are the same. Thanks for reminding me about that zip tie. I always mean to put it on there and I forget.
I already own the Xmaxx and the Maxx, picking up the Erevo in 3 weeks I cant wait for the revo. Great vid again mate.
Thanks!
Great video, got my e revo 2.0 last week and loving it
This really made things easier by helping me realize I need both 😅
😂
🤣 Same. Revo for all that it is and Maxx for when the Revo breaks and I still want to play.
Thank you! Thats awesome. I'm glad you like the videos.
Yeah 👍👍👍what he said love them both
You have have to buy the steel cv drive shafts for the wide Maxx too. The plastic drive shafts twist and break. I’ve done it.
the maxx is awesome monster truck.💪💪
I'm getting the e Revo 2.0. I'll get the shock braces and limiters and metal gears for the servos. I've driven a friend's e Revo 2.0 and actually liked it more then the X Maxx. The Revo just handles way better.
Yea we’re enjoying the Hoss
My son does want to bash and I’ll keep it under control because yea it’s fun to fix them
also, but can be kind of expensive
Plus to just have the time to fix them can be an issue sometimes between work and all the sports the kids are in...lol
Thank you again for always answering your Subscribers and fans
Thanks man. Bought them both. I couldn't of said everything you said any better. Amazing trucks!
Awesome!
Nitro Revo 3.3 for the win baby!!!! E-Revo is a cool 2nd for sure!!!! that Xmaxx is a flip over machine!!!!
Xmaxx might be but not the Maxx with proper setup.
That thing is tough. Maybe you should get a Slash Ultimate. That thing is really good from what I hear. i want one.
She finally broke something 2 days ago... snapped axle
@@alienfrmearth It was going to happen at some point.
Interesting of e Revo is just change tires up the gear and run on the road it's gonna be epic
I have both. Revo for handling maxx for insane speed, wheelies and just crazy bashing
Thank you for your Good Videos! Really enjoying them! You are a very sympathic guy! i’m now back to RC Cars (After 20 years paused)and bought an e revo for my 38tj Birthday next Weekend 😃 cant wait to rip off that box and enjoy 😍
I took a break also at one point. You are going to love that E Revo!
I have both. Definitely prefer E revo 2.0. Maxx is still nice.
everybody wants to dethrone e-revo 2.0 but is such a cool car, I went once to a park with a friend that didn't know much about RC Cars and I brought my x-maxx and the e-revo 2.0. My friend wanted to drive the e-revo 2.0 all the time.
I agree the e revo is a cool car but it’s proved that even once upgraded, it’s still not super durable compared to arrma 1/8 cars
I have both and I need to remember to point people here that ask me which I prefer. Couldn't say it any better! Great video.
*Subscribed and liked as well
Thank you so much!
Yeah the Maxx is a tough one. I'll have a new video with it soon.
Heavier shock oil will improve the landing performance. The car is at full droop while in air. Its the trucks shock compression on the way down that really matters. Increase your oil weight to 65-70.
Maxx all the way great truck!
Where do you put the Duct tape?
@@kevinsinger7941 I duct taped the entire body like a vinyl wrap on a car.....with a cool design duct tape and it looks insanely good!!! I have buddy's that want me to do it to there cars and trucks and I did the outside of the body because it was already graphic so I covered that up but if you have a clear body duct the inside and make sure you follow the graphic on the duct tape because it starts over after so much so I liked to keep the theme lined up 👍
Awesome video, very helpful information, but still a difficult choice. I'd also like both... ha. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great entertainment.
I bought a Maxx two weeks ago and 100% am happy with the choice. The wide kit for the Maxx is a must. You can also adjust the sprint rate and it really helps to reduce the wheelies.
Best video I've watched in a while........ Love my new e revo 👍
Thanks!
Biased and one sided the Maxx is better all the way with just a few small adjustments and mods.
Yep I got the small revo and even though it’s the small version I noticed it that I would burn through tires like crazy
I think I’m done with the e revo chassis so I’m going with the maxx
They are both fun and you cant go wrong with either, but I like the E Revo most of all.
👍I'm glad you stuck with the E-revo 2.0. Your previous videos on it helped me decide to buy one👍
Thats awesome!
E Revo 2.0, No Question!!
Wow, man. Your home is very beautiful.
Thanks!
I love your videos dude. You seem like such a great guy to be around 👊
Revo is a good for track. Maxx is good for that and everything else.
You have some of the best erevo videos
Thanks!
I have a problem with my e-revo 2.0 it keeps on breaking on the back even with metal bars any advise
@Ghouste YT I also had that problem and I solved it by upgrading to 7075 bars and now haven't broken my erevo since I bought the upgrade

Great video to watch. I'm getting an e revo, upgrading from a 3 year old 2x2 ruslter. I'm in canada so this car with batteries and everything is 1300$.
Mikey Szabo I’m in Canada also and consider buying one. They are quite pricey aren’t they but I think this truck in a overall package is worth it!
@@longboardguy ya it's crazy it would be alot better without the stupid tax, or the fact that you have to buy the batteries separately. The ruslter was my first amd only rc car and want ome that I will have for a long time.
Wow thats crazy expensive. Is that $1300 American money?
@@outsourcedrc 1300 canadian. The car before tax is 845, plus 13 percent tax, plus 300 for 2 batteries and a charger, it's around 1300 total. Tha k god I'm splitting it with my dad but still stupid expensive.
@@outsourcedrc thank god it's not american cause then it would be prob over 2k. I have a hobby store near me and they sell traxxas, and traxxas parts, so it's good that I domt have to order offline and pay american and shipping
I got the Maxx with Widekit and Revo Tires. Both Worlds combined 😃
Can u do a e revo v1 vs v2 video comparison review proformance vid etc
I don't know. The 2.0 has been out for so long that I don't know if its really necessary.
The 2.0 is better in pretty much every way, but the V1 handles a bit better because its 3lbs lighter. I wouldnt get a V1 over a 2.0
Outsourced RC I was just just wondering because no one else is done it. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to put the 2.0 upgrades on the 1.0 they I already have
@yfz450rx yeah the Diffs are super weak in the E Revo V1
no review needed; I had a revo v1 and it was an enormous design mistake by Traxxas. Horrible amount of breakage, super poor design, just stay far away from them. Honestly Traxxas should buy them back from anyone- thats how bad they are. I bought a 2.0 and it does decent with reliability but I still fix more than I 'd like to.
This deserves more likes and views
Thanks!
Nice comparison. My Maxx with the widemaxx kit and steel cvds is my most durable RC.
I believe it.
I have both including the xmaxx all 3 are great bashers
I think its better when the front dont pick up all the time you pushe the gas, because you have more control over the car when the tires on road when higher speed...
My friend has a maxx and it seem to break way more than my revo and revo has way more power. He mainly breaks drive shaft. he has put 6 drives shaft so far and it probably 4 months old now.
I'm tried his max and I really like how it drives and how it bashes.
I just recently changed my mind about traxxas. When I was 16 I had saved up money to buy a traxxas tmaxx 2.5 and it broke all the time only good thing about it was the motor. It made me hate traxxas then last year I bought a slash 4x4 platnum and just wow the durability is amazing and it handles so good on track so traxxas got me back as a customer
Then I bought a revo 3,3 great truck then got a e revo and love that thing as well. So glad traxxas stepped up thair game from t-maxx
nothing like the maxx sorry.😂😂
The Slash is a great RC from what I hear. I need to get off my butt and get me one.
Am I right?
If you buy Slash someday, dont forget to buy shock stampede protection Traxxas 6733,
Traxxas 6732. And one pair of RPM 80702, also i using Dusty Motors Traxxas Slash 4X4 protective shroud cover from the start of using my Slash. These few parts are essential for make Slash much more durable. I also bought RPM front and rear bumper, aluminium shock cups, but this upgrade can wait, few days or weeks :-)
Im using also Proline body mounts on my Slash for alternative bodies.
I think your revo would perform even more with 2 better battery's? 2x 3s 50c :)
I put proline 3.3 belted tires on my Maxx, it changes everything
What did it change exactly?

Rick David no more rollovers? I’ve been debating on a widemaxx kit but I hear it effects handling a ton. Turning radius turns to shit but maybe it needs a servo upgrade after the wide kit

Does the erevo hold up durability wise?
@@ChicagoBears2121 Ive had mine going on 6 months and so far I havent had anything happen to it. Ive read that the rear diffs go out from the amount of instant torque they have.
