Don't just learn it for business but learn it because also you like the language culture music etc if you only learn it for work then your drive to learn will be lacking
The background music though, it may disturb some people! Instead of focusing on the mandarin study, they will be concentrating to the music, and fall asleep deeply, suddenly!

I think the Chinese child does not learn to write until he has learned to speak... But yeah, if you're a visual type or a writing type, you'll barely learn by listening
Yes. At night while you wait to fall asleep, your brain is receptive to learning. As you fall asleep, words can slip into your subconscious now and again. I've done these videos before I go to sleep and woke up knowing a few sentences. You still need to study on the side, but you can pick up key phrases quickly with input, as you are falling asleep.
I think it definitely helps you to get familiar with pronunciations and the words in general. Your brain still processes information while u sleep so it will help but I don't think you'll be holding your own in conversations anytime soon just by falling asleep to these videos lol.
I go to sleep listening this videos at night, wake up speaking Chinese fluently. Then I realize I am chinese
