The best evidence Steve has about this is that he was there when it didn't happen, and he was already middle-aged. At the pick of his life, I tell ya!!
I thank you for this and wish you would do it more often. There are too few voices of intelligence and courage speaking out about these pernicious beliefs.
Bravo. We really need to add basic argumentation, rhetoric, and bias to every high school curriculum to inoculate more of us from the god botherers' tragic waste of resources.
I grew up in (and have since left behind) the evangelical protestant church and a school system that taught young earth creationism and all the baggage that comes with it as fact, and I can promise anyone who wants this stuff in schools they're doing their kids no favors. Having to deal with the culture and reality shock of realizing half of what you taught throughout your life was either made up or twisted the truth almost beyond recognition is not a good experience. I occasionally still feel like I'm a few steps behind a lot of my peers in terms of long term knowledge I've known since I was a kid. But hey, I still know John 3:16, so that's all that matters, right? 🙄
You are right again, my bad. We are indeed lucky and fortunate to have a man of such great and rare intellect to guide us. I almost fell for the Noah's Ark story but you have set me straight. Could you do an hour on the Adam and Eve story? Fact or fiction? Guide us dear leader!
@@paulroslindale7217 I'm assuming this is all just childish attempts at sarcasm, so I'll drop it by just saying if you think life on Earth was created by magic, you're in no position to criticize what other people think
You were fishing for an excuse to bash Christians and seized on Noah's Ark as your vehicle (pardon the pun). Very few people - Christian or otherwise- believe that Noah's Ark really happened so your 45 minute rant was forced and quite ridiculous.
@@paulroslindale7217 Many, many, many Christians believe this silly mythology. At the very least, as a Christian, you believe in an invisible man, that wine turns magically into blood, and that eating someone else's body has magical properties and can excuse your less-than stellar action here on earth. As a Christian, the list of such things that you by default believe in is longer than my arm
I had never heard of this movie before since I avoid any Christian media, but I looked to see if it is available on UA-cam and it is. I'll watch it to see what ridiculous "facts" it is purporting to prove. I watched about 5 minutes and the speakers already seemed very condescending in their attitude that their "truth" is obvious but is ignored by mainstream science. I'm not sure I can stand to watch, but I am curious about how stupid the arguments are by these educated people.
I read the title and confidently assumed it would be some kind of riff on Heart of Darkness. This sounds dafter and more sinister somehow?!
In the beginning, there was nothing. Then, God said, " Let there be light" and there was light. There was, still, nothing but you could see it, now.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where's puppy! 🐶

How dare you, sir? How DAAAAARE you???
Woohoooo! Steve dropped Seven Mountains Dominionism in minute 26! Let ‘em have it, Steve!

agree. fantastic video
God: I saved Noah. The one moral man.
Noah gets off the boat: Freedom! I am going to get drunk and take all my clothes off!
This type of commentary is exactly why I love the St Donoghue booktube channel. These are my favorite types of videos. Excellent.

Was Kevin Sorbo in this film? Like personally bashing the fingers of children grasping onto the gunwale of the ark?
Dis-passionate zealots unite!

I think you are going on such length to convince yourself that Noah's ark is really mythology.
You think wrong.
