I just went through several different videos trying to explain hedge accounting to me and this guy is the first one I did not "zone out" on, much less stop and move on to the next video in hopes the instructor is easier to follow! Of course, one could argue because I watched three other videos before this one that may be why this explanation was easier to grasp. Either way, in my opinion, his explanation gave me the "light bulb" on hedge accounting!
Hi i have a question. Arnt we buying two seperate sets of oranges in this example, one on the market at 0.25 and another set through the futures contract. How will the gain on the futures contract off set the purchase at the market rate?

Fantastic tutor. Love his mannerisms, how he simplifies these concepts and then breaks things down further.
