When I was in my forties, I started looking at older women who looked their age and looked good, to figure out what they were doing. I decided it was 2 things: a great haircut & a strong lip. Now that I'm in my 60's I love getting all the beautiful lipsticks. Love Chantecaille, Guerlain and Surratt. Heading to the Selfridges site for Dries, Suqqu & Prada! Thanks Jen!
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁!!!!!! I love these types of videos. It’s like going over the best that we never get to see because of all the constant newness. Thank you 😍😍🙌🏻🙌🏻
And there that headband I want ! I am so glad you did this. There is. Gazillion to choose from. I’m 63 and it’s important to me for a good lip. My lines go to the heavens
My new favorite lipstick is the Sarah Creal in Main Character. It’s an amazing formula and for me that shade is fantastic (things can go orange on me). Just love it and I want another one too. Also adore the Prada in Caramel and DVN in Cool Brown. Perfect 3 for fall/winter.
What a beautiful list 😀 I only have a top 3: lisa Eldridge: rouge experience, velvet, lux lucent, top shades in each : velvet : enchantment, rouge experience: ashes of roses, lux lucent : palazzo
I have worn the Lisa Eldridge new ones every day since I bought them, and I'll tell you why. They don't feather. I do use a lip liner, but liner makes no difference with feathering on me. It's all in the formula. Between Ashes of Roses and Medici, they work with everything. They stay on well, unless you eat. Then they come off completely. But reapplication is a cinch. So my new faves. That said, I just got the Merit 3 lipstick kit, and I'm surprisingly impressed. Again, no feathering and good length of wear. Plus I picked up Prada matte in Mahogany in the Sephora sale and that's another winner. But drying, so not my fave. Thanks for the review!💚
I'm very happy with the rouge experience, but I found Ashes of Roses to be almost an entire different formula. Honestly, if they would tell me i got their prototype for their next formula, I would believe them. It's a straight matte, quite drying and much firmer in consistancy. My Lisa and Ribbon are very creamy, a bit Shiny and almost balmy feel. So strange. Just a fluke or is that your experience as well? The ashes stays on forever so that's a bonus. 😳 Love the color though, it's what I wanted affair to be (it had yellow/orangy undertones, big no no)
