They changed so much because of the backlash of how badly it was written. That’s the entire problem, they had to rewrite it, because it didn’t make any sense, how there wasn’t an explanation for the order and why all Clones agreed with it. This happens when you have a “story” but you go from the beginning of a major event to in the next movie suddenly being at the end of that major event. You’re missing the most important part, that middle piece. Phantom Menace, shouldn’t have gone the way it has, it feels like a detached part of the other 2.
I feel like the inhibitor chips make the most sense and can make better stories for example: when Rex tried his best to resist the chips and also the story with fives
No I disagree. People always argue that the clone wars isn't a kids show. But this actually is one of the best arguments to point out that it is. It is way darker to have people you trusted turn on you because they are trained soldiers who don't mind killing their generals. Rather than having them simply lose their humanity to a biologic click that switches them to evil androids. Dehumanizing opponents makes things more childfriendly.
Yes, of course, imagine three years with someone who you would almost call a friend in many cases and in Anakin's and Rex's or Obi Wan's and Cody's or Plos's and Wolf's cases definitely friends and kill this friend through an alleged betrayal that you would not believe just like that. With all the indoctrination of the Kaminoans, this still makes no sense after three years with the Jedi. The inhibitor chip is the best and most logical explanation that could be provided
Why the cut off
