    "You'll land this in one day" - only took me about 50 tries during 3 seasons lol.
    At the beginning I had no idea how to edge for an air trick and how to do the scoop. It was only after I went on system 2 with a teacher and landed a raley, when I could finally do the backroll cut and scoop.
    Keep trying and you'll land it!
    Great tip about keeping your arms close!

    In my perspective you forgot the MOSt IMPORTANT point for starters: Turn your head to the side and Look over your shoulder into the direction you are rolling.
    So important!

    Hey guys can you explain the release part, or the scoop, I'm struggling with this thanks

      I was struggling with the scoop too. Learned raley first on system 2 with a teacher which helped with the backroll so much!

    @The Peacock Brothers, 2 sessions i've been trying the backroll now.
    I started by cutting instantly after the turn, learned to do it in the middle of the running wire between the 2 towers now.
    Definitely builds up way more tension. So you have to initiate the cut while you are under the running wire? I always start a bit to the right of it.
    And also simply not really understanding the actual block i need to put in the water for the release. Is it super agressive?, when i see it in the video it doesn't look like it
    takes a lot of effort to get the release.

    • @cypruscyprusen6658
      @cypruscyprusen6658 3 роки тому

      It actually doesn't require that much of a strenght. More than anything you need to have straight front leg and dig with your back leg into the water for the cut and keep your arms as close to your hips as possible. That way you get maximum tension. The release is simply throwing your front foot to the side like a reverse banana shape and it shoots you to the stars with no effort. Once I figured out how to edge for air trick it became all easy with raley and backroll. Best to learn air tricks is system 2.0 though as you can start from corner raleys which really saves you a lot of nasty edges and pain.

    Which trick should I start raley or back roll?

    • @ThePeacockBrothers
      @ThePeacockBrothers  5 років тому +1

      It depends, it’s kind of up to you. Raley edges are probably worse but there’s more you can learn with a Raley!

    Where you are saying to throw the backroll makes no sense for riders who are left foot forward.

    • @ThePeacockBrothers
      @ThePeacockBrothers  4 роки тому

      For a left foot forward backroll you want to come round the corner and wait around 1 second before starting your cut to the inside of the lake :)
