Sir, I am a CA and a member of the ICAI. However I am in service and not a practicing CA. I am going to complete my LLB. Can I apply for Bar Council membership even though I have ICAI membership since I am not into practice.

ye Bar Council wale duffer hai kya? Almost all lawyers and Judges are illiterate in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation, 2-4 CA's ko lenge to unka hi bhala hoga.

What about cases where CA is not in practise(i.e COP not taken) but member of the institute. In such case can we become advocate and stay member of the ICAI(not in practice!).
Does the bar council allow such cases?

Further if Ca can practice as advocate than how to take permission from bar council as I know no bar council usually allow permit to enroll Ca as advocate.

I know how to do book keeping, ledger making and balance sheet making. Can I work as an accountant with these skills? Please help me.
On the other hand I enrolled as an advocate, but there is so much confusion in litigation field. Thats why I am thinking that I should work as an accountant.

You can do any other course during articleship without permission of ICAI, after articleship and before there are no issue.
