For the first time since this storyline began I actually felt for Jessica. Forcing a 17 year old girl to speak about her sex life in a court room, amongst strangers, creates both a violating and traumatic experience for the girl. Theresa is hardly sensitive in her approach. That makes it all the more cruel.
Imagine you would have been forced to talk to so many about your first time. Has there been yet one person Jessica *chose* to tell and wasn't forced to (the DA, the cop, the pre-hearing, the court room) because of the situation? And at one point we had even Eric worrying about a press drama, when he learned about Connor and Sally's involvement.
She's adorable though. I actually find her more likeable than Taylor. 😊 In an alternate universe, Yasemin and Mustapha would have been the couple to root for.
Man the difference between the Mike and Sheila scene vs the Ridge and Brooke scene is striking! Both pairs are just commenting on another storyline (Mike and Sheila on James, Ridge and Brooke on Jessica) but Kimberlin can act and she has chemistry with Ken Hanes so their scene is compelling. Ron Moss and KKL are lacking in both areas so their scene is a snooze.

I agree! Chemistry is more than just display of sex ual tension. When Brooke was talking to Stephanie about Jessica the other day, I didn't think Kkl was too bad. That is because ( as others have pointed out before) SF has a way of elevating the other actors she shares scenes with through her skills.....but also the actresses have actual chemistry.
I DO see chemistry between Ridge and Brooke but only when they're apart. I agree they're boring when they're together. I think Ridge and Taylor were a better married couple because they seem more mature. Ridge and Brooke have more of an immature YA romance vibe.
As soon as Eric told Steph he was going to testify first to put an end to this, I knew that he was not, in fact, going to put an end to anything. Connor ate him up and spat him out. Better Eric had just let Steph testify.
The writers assume that having characters actually comment on how odd a plot point is will somehow make it less odd - like acknowledging the flaws will make them go away. It's like one of those scientific papers where the researcher goes "yeah, I know my sample size is too small to actually let me draw any valid conclusions, but here are my conclusions anyway".

Same with Sheila's Goodbye Party which has a lot of Brad's signature laziness (How did Sheila get past all the cops surrounding the Forrester property? Why did everyone agree to meet her there?) but still some compelling and even funny moments from Kimberlin (the way she reacts to James saying, "You're not of sound mind" cracks me up!).

Isn't it much worse to put Jessica trough to all this, than having a relationship with a guy, who is only three years older than her?? She is 17 not 12 and Dylan is 20 not 40!
