So much great 👍 music by this band and this is their biggest hit. What a performance by the band, esp the drummer and the fans, many many of them were really into the performance. POLICY OF TRUTH and WORLD IN MY EYES also favorites.

Hey James. I’m working my way thru your DM play list and I have to say that your reaction videos are a massive cut above the rest of the YT reactors who a simply chasing the numbers for monetary gains rather than for a passion for music. I enjoy your appreciation of a band who have defined and era and shaped peoples lives thru their lyrics and from friendships formed because of a common love. Your unbiased reaction to the music as a whole - stage art work, vocals, instrumentation and production is a breath of fresh air and firmly kicks all of the shallow review attempts into touch. What makes my day is seeing your discovery and appreciation to the performance and how the music pulls you in to want to search out more and more. There's lots of Depeche Mode to go back and view young James, right back to 198..1? (I think). Great reaction and I love your appreciation of this band and it's front man, one of my all-time favourite bands and probably my favourite front man ever. Yes indeed, it's stunning - definitely one of the best live performances I've seen on UA-cam (and in my opinion, so much better than the original album version). WATERFRONT, by Simple Minds (live at the Hydro, 2013) and BACKSTREET SYMPHONY, by Thunder (live at Donington, 1990), are also worth checking out.

If you are going to go down the Depeche Mode rabbit hole you should react to their songs from the live Devotional album. That was around 1993 and that’s when they were at their peak. I’ve been a fan since 1983, saw the 101, Violater and Devotional concerts and the Devotional show was the best concert (I’ve seen hundreds of big bands) I’ve ever seen in my life. After that tour/album one of the key band members quit the band and never liked back. That changed their sound forever and they’ve never come close again to that last tour before breakup. To be fair, the lead singer was totally strung out on heroin then at its peak worst and he actually had a heart attack and nearly died once on this tour. Got clean after that and sobriety changed his sound and stage presence in my opinion. He’s still good but nowhere close to back then. Here’s a good place to start. Also Behind the Wheel Devotional Live video or Fly on the Windscreen, Stripped, Walking in my Shoes or Personal Jesus all devotional live video versions. I saw the devotional tour in Dallas in late 1993. I paid 150 bucks for tenth row seats and was four months pregnant! Best concert experience of my life and has never been topped by any other band. ua-cam.com/video/uOjwcgKzifM/v-deo.html
